Tested by switching wall socket off and UPS and NAS communication working. Only issue I had was windows11 putting Pc into sleep mode every five minutes, this was fixed by amending the advanced power settings in Windows for “battery” to “do not use” when “plugged in” (just google it). All ok now. Review: Great unit, great features, Powerchute business and firmware update process is naff. - Using this unit to power a NAS, does the job perfectly. I had a back ups that died, opened it out and saw the components were quite cheap so went for a better unit. Also throwing the old one away wasn't something I wanted to do but it didn't have replaceable batteries like this one. A MUST is to buy the additional 3 yr warranty, the batteries on these last 3-4 years, a new set or batteries is more than the extended warranty (batteries are covered under it) so makes perfect sense. In addition it will give you pre-paid shipping and an extra 3 years on the unit (6 yrs in total). ## Features - The APC Smart-UPS SMT - Smart Connect Series offers battery backup and surge protection for servers, switches and networking devices - APC Smart connect is a proactive remote UPS cloud monitoring feature that is accessible from any internet connected device - max.
