Wish I Had Bought These Sooner!!!
These were the perfect fit for my insurance cards and social security card!!!I myself sat thinking: "I know we cannot laminate our social security cards, but I wish there was a way to protect them from getting wet or dirty."Then it hit me: "I am positive Amazon has something out there!!!"Thus I arrived at this product!!!They arrived when they said they would, and came in two pages that I had to gently separate the card sleeves edges from one another. It is not too difficult to take the cards out once you place them in a sleeve, and so far they have worked out great!!!I highly recommend buying these if you are looking for some form of protection for your cards. Whether they are your social security card or insurance cards.

Must be seperated.
Like many people I didn't realize these would come as a solid sheet that had to be separated. When I removed them from the package I assumed they sent the wrong item. Then I turned the package over and saw the sticker with instructions to separate. Also, they did not separate that easily and because they are thin I was worried that they would be damaged while I was tearing them apart. That is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.Otherwise these are exactly what I wanted. They are thin and that is what I was looking for. I bought it to keep a fishing license in. I had to trim the license to make it fit but that is not the fault of the sleeves. They are just big enough to hold a credit card. If you are looking for a thin sleeve to protect a paper type card in your wallet, I would recommend these.

These are great deal & fit perfectly
I searched for Medicare card holders and some said they almost fit you have to trim the card or it might not fit in your wallet but I am SO GLAD I found these the Medicare card fits perfectly and I can also put my social security card in there too and the price was the cheapest on Amazon plus you get 10 card holders they come in a whole sheet all attached but you just have to peel them apart no big deal I will give the rest to friends and family. Oh and it fits perfectly in my wallet too love these!!

Exactly what I wanted.
I did not realize we are advised against laminating Medicare cards. I was weary of carrying around a card with tatered edges, which was continuing to deteriate. When I was informed lamination is not an option, I ordered a replacement card and these plastic covers. The fit is nice and snug, with no chance of the card falling out. Does the job.

Sure they work ok..
These 6mil card protector sleeves are just as described. They DO protect a 'paper' card ok, but if you ever try to remove the card it may be a problem.. (nurse says she needs to make a copy and it won't work in the plastic) I removed the card, with much difficulty, as it was like 'welded' in there and quite a bit of the ink came off the card and remained with the plastic. This could be because the cheap paper medical card (not Medicare card, just medi-gap card) was sub par and probably would've transferred off in my wallet too, but.. at least the faded card wasn't dog-eared or bent, sooo...You decide.. I have a few leftovers if... zzzzzz
