These cups are suitable for hot or cold liquids. The ripple paper on the outside keeps the beverage at the desired temperature, and makes the cup easier to hold, no matter how hot the beverage is. The lid is easy to put on, and fits well. It wouldn't come off accidentally. I even did a squeeze test for this review, and the lid did not pop off. One review mentioned the cups stuck together. I did not have this problem. I like that they are larger than most cups with lids, and they are not clear, so you can drink milk, juice, Kool-Aid, etc. without anybody commenting on your beverage choice.

So bummed! I ordered these just for home to office use and was excited about how cute they look but my cups were all jammed in so tight that I couldn't remove one without excessive force which resulted in a squished cup. I thought it might have been a shipping issue that jammed them all together so I undid them and stacked them lightly but I'm still having the issue. It's almost like they create a suction effect when stacked. I don't see anyone else with this problem so maybe it was just my order. I like them enough that I might reorder to see if it was just that shipment. I'll change my review if that's the case.

Awesome cups. Out of town company loves to use them when they have a cup to go on the road. We have refilled the cups several times and the base did not leak. The rippled sides do make it comfortable to hold a nice hot cup of coffee or tea. We did not need an extra sleeve.
