OVC Active Noise Cancelling Earbuds Earphone Wired ANC Headphone - 60 Hours Playtime, Dual Driver, Bass Enhancement, Volume Control with Microphone, 3.5mm Plug for Android (Blue)

I bought them to replace the default earphones that came with my Samsung S7 edge and my dead Apple earbuds. Since I often travel (monthly flights... sorry carbon footprint :-S), I wanted to try the active noise cancelling feature without paying a fortune. I have to say that I'm pleased with these OVC! Even if the sound quality doesn't reach the one of my Klipsch home system or my now also dead around the ear Bose headset (hey, we are talking about earbuds after all!), these OVC have quite good sound quality! It is better than my previous basic Samsung and Apple earbuds, while keeping the form factor to something convenient to carry. The bass are better because of the in-ear design, but without the discomfort of it (I usually struggle with in-ear earbuds, but not these since they don't have to go completely in). Instead of using the "suction" of the ear canal like most in ear earbuds (which I usually find uncomfortable), they use a small silicon "finger" to help them to stay in place! That's very comfy if you have "compatible" ears. Some with small ears might want smaller silicon tip than the two sizes that comes in the package however. I prefer the sound quality with the bass boost off, it's more defined and flat. In this setup, the active noise cancelling is more efficient also. And wow! This function is very impressive! It cancels most background sounds, and that for hours with the claimed 60 h endurance! I was very surprised how efficient it is (disclaimer, this is my first contact with active noise cancelling). This allow me to listen to music to a lower volume, and this is way comfier, and I can pay more attention to details in the music or while listening news. It made me realize that it makes no sense to use the best headphones in the world if the delicacy of the sound is polluted by all the surrounding noises! I'll bring them with me in the plane for sure, but not only there! They shine in the subway or loud environment, and where there is little noise like, let say, a small fan or refrigerator motor that can become disturbing. So yeah, conclusion: Clearly recommended! It does the job very well and for a good price! And not only have a decent sound quality (for earbuds), but allow to perceive all the detail because of the capacity to isolate you from the surrounding noisy environment... So, there is no need to boost the volume to levels where others earphone (and these too) would produce distortion.

I should have waited to see more reviews...but the features looked good so I bought them. I really like the idea of a rechargeable ANC with wired headset for airplane rides. The packaging is nice too. I've bought the Audio Technica ATH-ANC23 several times, but the last one didn't work, so tried these OVC's much to my regret.The OVC:First off, the noise isolating ear buds to not fit that well. They do not isolate the sound very well. The extra pair of ear buds seem to be the same size...thus they didn't make any difference when switched out.Audio Quality: they sound very tinny and the 'bass' boost doesn't seem to work that great. When the ANC is on, it sounded even worse.ANC: I almost heard NO difference with AC noise in my hotel room. The only difference is noted above about audio quality which is not positive.I will try these on my flight home, and if I hear a significant improvement on the plane, I will re-write this review. I cannot recommend these.

It mildly reduces volume from white noise sources from things like fans, but if you turn noise cancellation on, you must turn bass boost off, and these headphones have terrible bass on their own (compared to the really cheap headphones that you can also get on Amazon). The noise cancel button/battery is heavier than expected, so it weighs down your ears unless you clip the wires to your body, and the noise cancelling box must be charged from time to time. Also, the rubber earpieces that were attached came severely deformed, but thankfully there was a second set that was supplied. I wrote to the seller to ask for a replacement for the deformed earpieces but they just ignored me.

I have other ANC headphones that actively cancel noise and compared to this, this unit doesn't provide any noticeable noise cancelling.

The noise cancelling was totally ineffective, not helped by the poor fit of the earbuds (the spare silicon buds were the same size and of the same poor fit). Even when background noise is absent the sound quality is dreadful, and the volume level is low.On the plus side, the storage pack is good.Mine may have been defective, but I was shocked at how poor the quality of this item is.

Nachdem mir meine MDR NC100D (und mein treuer MP3 Player von dnt, Music Tower) im Hotel geklaut wurde (hatte ich zurückgelassen, aber angeblich wurde nichts gefunden, muß jetzt Ersatz her.Leider ist der MDR 100D nicht mehr verfügbar und Sony hat auch sonst nicht Vergleichbares mehr im Sortiment, leider.Nach langer Suche hatte ich mich für OVC entschieden, waren doch die Rezensionen vielversprechend. Aber wie so oft, die wenigen ausführlichen und teilweise auch kritischen Rezensionen sind die hilfreichen.Leider hatte ich mich auch zu sehr von der Obtik locken lassen ;-)Sitz:OVC liefert nur zwei verschiedene Größen der Ohrenstöpsel, von welchen keiner richtig paßt. Damit kann natürlich die NC gar nicht richtig arbeiten und das Produkt verliert schon vor dem Start.NC:Referenz ist der MDR NC100D und um es kurz zu machen, es sind die berühmten Apfel und Birnen, jeder Vergleich ist sinnlos.Egal ob das NC am OVC eingeschaltet ist oder nicht, die Umgebungsgeräusche sind in der Wahrnehmung unverändert.Dazu kommt noch eine sehr schwache Dynamik, Bässe kommen im Niveau einer Callcenter Warteschleife.Fazit:Für das was der Kopfhörer bietet, muß ich nicht extra ein kleines Kästchen umhertragen, das kann auch jeder andere ohne NC Elketronik. Auch wenn es nur ein Investment von §0 EUR war, ich bin es aber leid, minderwertige Produkte weiterhin zu akzeptieren, somit gab es nur eine Möglichkeit, zurück.Jetzt werde ich weiterhin nach einem (von mir aus auch gebrachten) MDR NC100D suchen, bzw. einem gleichwertigen Ersatz. Hierfür bin ich für jeden Hinweis dankbar.

Los he devuelto la misma tarde que me llegaron.Sonido bajo, mala sujeción al oído y la cancelación de ruido, motivo por cual los compre, no sirve para nada.Resumen: DECEPCIONANTES!!

De oordopjes sloten niet goed aan in de gehoorgang. Hierdoor was de afsluiting van buitenaf niet mogelijk. Ik kon hierdoor het product niet gebruiken / beoordelen.
