Outdoor dimmer for String Lights, Svater 360W dimmer Switch,Auto On/Off, Stepless dimming, Wireless Control with Timer,Plug in String Lights dimmer

I'm using this to control and dim my prelit LED Xmas tree. I wasn't sure if it would work (it was not known if the strings on the tree were the dimmable variety of LED lights.) The tree however, was so bright (the "senior" relatives actually complained...) that I was willing to take the chance to see if I could get a more manageable level of brightness (and stop my mother-in-law's sidebar comments.) Eureka! It works perfectly; I can turn the tree on and off remotely, change the brightness level to 4 different presets (50% looks great) and tweak the presets if necessary. The timer is a great added feature as well. Since I'm using indoors and for only a short period of time, I'm hoping this dimmer will last at least as long as the tree itself. Moreover, this dimming feature would have added $250 to the cost of my (already quite expensive) tree if I had flipped for this when I bought it. I am BEYOND excited that I was able to get the same thing for less than a $32 add-on.

Update as of 01Apr20- The unit I purchased stopped working after about 5 months. Meaning that there was no way to turn it on where and when I wanted. Occasionally, it would turn the lights on without me using the remote which was odd. I sat on this issue for a while but then decided to reach out to the vendor. They responded immediately and even sent me another free of charge. This was unlooked for and I am extremely pleased with the service. Fingers crossed that this one does not stop working!Works great with a strand of outdoor lights we put up that were WAY too bright. We only use the dimming function and it has not gone through one of our cold winters outside but for now it lives up to the expectations.

So I bought this exact dimmer about 2-3 years ago and it worked amazingly!!! Loved it so much, it was shoved under a dresser and still worked perfectly with the remote wireless connection. I moved, left the dimmer there. Fast forward to about 3 months ago— I ordered this same dimmer, and it will NOT I REPEAT NOT get good connection to the remote, no matter if it’s in plane site, it’s elevated, it’s low, it’s turned one way or the other the remote will not work consistently., My spouse and I take turns with the remote trying to turn the lights on, after hitting the on button about 200 times each, they finally turn on,… our patio looks great, but once we have to go to bed we have to disconnect the cable because we don’t feel like playing games with the remote all damn night! So annoyed! Buying a new one asap.

The outdoor dimmer for string lights from Svater is so easy to use and has so many functions on the remote: it can dimmer 3 different ways, it can be kept on for 2, 4 or 6 hours. Then it turns off. Very nice addition to string lights.

I originally just bought the string lights, but I’m really glad I added the dimmer. It nice quality and doubles as an extension cord. It makes a huge difference to be able to adjust the light setting. At times you want it bright but we find ourselves cutting it down to 50% or lower as it gets later in the evening. The remote is very convenient, and has worked flawlessly so far. Highly recommend.

Easy to use and works as advertised. We've had ours on some outdoor string lights where it is completely exposed to the elements and it has held up well over there last several months. It gives wonderful control over brightness and the timer functions are nice.

Only lasted one year

I ordered this power outlet because I wanted to be able to turn on and off the patio lights with a remote. Also I had read reviews that the LED string lights were very bright and I wanted to make sure that I could set the brightness as I saw fit for the occasion. I’m very happy I got this dimmer/power supply as the lights are very bright at 100%. It comes with some presets as well as plus and minus options. Build quality as of now feels top notch as well as the string lights. I can’t speak on longevity because I’ve only had them for about a month, but I don’t see myself having problems with them. If your buying outdoor patio lighting and want to be able to dim your lights to set the right ambience do yourself a favor and pick one of these up.
