Progressive Automations 12V Mini Linear Actuator 4" Stroke, 50 lbs Force

I own several of these linear actuators, and I am very happy with the quality of this product. The support has been great, buying the accessories to go with. It was very easy. If you are going to use them outdoors, I recommend getting the rubber boot covers for the motor and the end cap.

This actuator is great and much faster than the previous one I was using. Very smooth operation and easy to wire up. I’m using it as an automatic lift device for a commercial lawn mower chute and it’s holding up well so far with all of the grass and dirt it sees on a daily basis; I’m looking for a long amount of usability out of it and only time will tell how well that works out. It would have been nice if it included the mounts, which were not advertised to come with it, so I didn’t need to purchase them separately - but I get it.

Functions as it should

The fitting advise for the stroke was on target. The actuator functions as advertised, smoothly, quietly, and reliably. You get what you pay for on this one. 5 Stars

I mounted this on the snow chute on my JD garden tractor. Works great although I haven’t tried it in the snow yet. I also bought the weather cover to help protect from melting snow

Replaced the actuator on my 2003 Sundancer 340. I did have to cut plug off and splice plug from existing actuator onto this one, but that was easy to do.

Outstanding just what I needed

i designed and built a system to operate two large windows that required a ladder to access. the 12 volt actuator was precisely what i needed to make it work. i appreciated the 1/4 inch mounting holes on either end allowing ease of design and installation. the only drawback is the plunger is wobbly at full extension. i will buy this product again for my next project!

Works well

Parfait!

Pour la sortie et l’entrée d’une marche sur l’escalier de mon motorisé. Ça fonctionne bien

Good as expected, but pricey product compared to other similar quality products
