It is fairly easy to assemble......it took me about 2 hours. Mine arrived intact and had NO missing parts as stated in some of the other reviews. It is very comfortable to sit in and it's quiet and sturdy. The only negative I have is it's weight, but it is a 2 person stand and this should be expected. I strongly recommend having 3 adults to help raise the stand because it is very top heavy. Overall, I highly recommend this treestand. Part of managed hunts in constrained areas, starting in late summer, have to take mosquito repellant, bow, and gear, and there is room for all that. And in cold weather, there seems to be even more gear, and again, the extra room allows for all the hunting gear plus cold weather clothing. Having the wide beth, affords greater than 360o of freedom allowing the bow to swing all the way around in either direction, so there are no blind spots (no pun). The only knock against this is the hard spot in the middle of the seat. It takes a while. Also, you’ll need help to set it up because it’s very heavy. Other than that it’s perfect.
