This cover is well worth $5. The cover takes a very poorly designed Apple TV remote control, which is way too small and slippery for most hands, and transforms it into something that is more ergonomic. It fits the Apple TV remote like a glove, adds some extra beef to the control, and reduces the slippery nature of the original control.

I like this product because it protects the remote and makes it easier to keep track of it. I’d recommend buying it if you have kids or think the remote is too fragile feeling.Note: you only get one cover, not three like the picture seems to suggest.

Pros: Soft. Durable. Fits.Cons: String durability.This silicone material is soft to the touch and feels great. It is very flexible as well and I expect it to last a long time.The design doesn’t interfere with the touchpad at all when trying to navigate and fast forward or fast reverse.There are top and bottom bumps with extra material that create this gap underneath. It’s such a minor detail but makes grabbing the remote so easy versus having it completely flat. There are cut outs for charging port, IR, Apple logo, and what I think is the microphone.It comes with a sling that gets attached to the cover. It’s an ok sling as over time it did fall apart for me. Granted we don’t really use the string much. You can hang it with the accessory it came with though. We just toss it around.Overall, this is a great case for your remote.

Works good, looks good, does not interfere with the operation of the remote in any way. It also helps keep the remote from sliding around when you set it on a smooth surface. I currently have the wrist strap attached but it is not necessary. I’ll leave it attached for now. I like how it adds weight and grip to the remote. No negatives at this point.

This case has been a life saver for apple tv remote. I am on my 3rd remote and did not want to buy another one since they're very expensive. I have all tile floors so each time I've dropped the remote, it has shattered. I have had this case now for quite some time and I have yet broken my remote even though it's fallen multiple times onto the tile floor.

Best part was the minimal packaging, got exactly what I wanted at a great price. Way cheaper than what Apple sells and yet no more slippery remote that hits the floor at least twice a day. Feels great and full functionality of all its buttons without any compromises to its full capabilities.
