This is a great product, definitely worth the money to make life easy. Setting up codes is simple.I use it with my Turo business and all my guests love it. I've used other boxes and all the guests do is complain.However it does not work in anyway remotely. Unless you redefine remote to be standing there with int in your hand.

Wow...I own a tech company. I can’t believe how disappointed I am with this. The locking mechanism broke inside within 30 mins locking the case permanently. You can hear the machinist trying to pull the locking pin down to unlock but doesn’t. Such a nice idea poorly executed. I thought about exchange but no way I’m going to put visitors access in the hands of this product. Avoid!

Arrived perfectly, works reliably, no issues.My only complaint is that it is not perfectly designed for someone who's away from home a lot. Although you can issue codes remotely, you have no ability to check who's accessed it until you get back within bluetooth range.You can issue bluetooth keys remotely and the app will show access records for those remotely... However it can be tricky to get estate agents, delivery teams etc to install an app and activate their 'key' within 1 hour of it being issued.I did manage to get my cleaner to install a key after 5 attempts, and now it works well for her. The estate agents have a code they can use, and I get to check that record once every two months when I come home. I gave a one-time code to a furniture store who successfully used it to deliver a sofa; but Amazon have never managed to use their code for the same purpose (I suspect this is just a fault with the way Amazon UK delivers packages).I am generally very happy - the lock feels robust and high quality, it works very neatly, it has plenty of space and I will take it with me to my next house where I hope to use it for Airbnb.One more comment: in a South Wales cul-de-sac it does look a little unusual mounted on the front door. People often ask about it or try to use it as a doorbell!

Ist aber extrem robust, sehr schwer und wertig! Mechanisch kaum zu knacken..., Einrichtung mit iphone ging problemlos, ebenso sychronisierungen und vergabe neuer Zugangscodes. Wenn man also vermietet und nicht immer vor Ort ist, ist das eine gute Lösung..., es muss aber jemand vor Ort sein, der die neuen Codes synchronisiert.

I usually don't write reviews but I wanted to pass along some praise for this incredible item.I have used this smartlock since April of 2022 and it has been a game changer/life saver. I wanted to originally get one of those smart locks for my rental property, but I read the horror stories about power outages, internet outages, and the locks getting knocked off the hinge and not working and figured I needed another solution for my rental property.By sheer luck I stumbled across this little smart lock and thank God I did.I have used this now for 15+ renters and it has worked like a charm everytime.I am able to send duration codes that last the whole time of the their stay, and also able to send them a seperate/convieniant checkout code that they can use for easy checkout when renters are scrambling to get out and get home. The codes are always unique, and always work (no clue how) and it has allowed me to effectively manage a property from 7 hours away.If you are an AirBnb/VRBO host and don't want to deal with a "smart lock" then this is where you need to look and then stop looking because you've found your solution.I have seen people having "issues" with battery life. I added new batteries in April and have made it through the full beach season now without any issue. I figure just like anything of this nature, change the batteries every 6 months so you're not left high and dry. There's also a way to jump charge the lock if the battery dies by using a USB-C charging block or a 9V battery. I haven't had to try any of these methods but knowing if something bad happens that there's a solution, helps me sleep at night.That's all I have to say - if you need a reliable lock that works without WiFi from anywhere, look no further.
