Great value, good performance
If you’re a novice and you have a recurve that you want to shoot vanes off of, this is the rest for you. Applied correctly to my bow, it gives me about 1/2cm clearance from the shelf so higher profile vanes will still strike the shelf but lower profile vanes work just fine, especially if you orient your nock point about half an inch high. This rest provides excellent release for my arrows. My only complaint is that arrows do slide off of it quite easily but that’s more of a form correction issue than design. This is the only style of rest that I will ever need. Takes very little force to push back and immediately resets with the magnet.

Good value, works fine.
I ordered these needing a better arrow rest than the crappy plastic one that came with my bow. It definitely did the job, one of them came out defective but that's fine since It comes with more. The next arrow rest worked great and I've shot hundreds of arrows since then and it's still on.

Good quality rest, but it's not going to work for my recurve.
This is a good quality rest that I would recommend, but I can't use it on my recurve. I have a Hoyt Hunt Master and the thickness of the metal retainer that holds the wire rest pushes my arrow out too far from the bow's centerline, so the arrow is actually exiting the bow at an angle greater than I would prefer. I don't know if I'm explaining this correctly, but basically it changes the angle of the arrow horizontally enough that when the arrow leaves the bow it's already heading in the wrong direction. I think this would work really well for someone with an aluminum riser and an adjustable rest plate so you can keep this on centerline with the string.

Needs some refinement
I am a Archery Instructor and bow repairman, I go though a ton of arrow rest, for my bows and others. I purchased these to give them a try and found they aren't quite up to my standards. They seem to have an adverse effect on arrow flight and the manner in which they are constructed has a tendency to fail. The unit is held together (on the backside of the rest) by peening over the pin that holds the collapsing arm in the front, however it has a tendency to give way causing the arm to move downward and dropping the arrow.

Good for arrows with cock (index) vane perpendicular to knock, better than other common design.
Pic 1 shows this temporarily simultaneously mounted with a magnetic design type pivoted farther back ($12, not recommended!) just to illustrate the difference in geometry. This one pushes the wire out of the way (pic 2), as intended. The other pinches the arrow inside and doesn’t really work (pic 3). I bent the wire up slightly and angled the mounting to encourage the arrow against the riser (plunger). This one is a good value and works well when cock vane is horizontal but I still prefer the capture rest design for knocks that are adjustable to parallel to cock (index) vane (i.e., cock vane is vertical, aligned with bowstring).

They don't even last 12 shots
One of the arrow rests was broken when the package arrived, but I figured since there were two more, I'd be fine. So, one down, no big deal. They were easy to install, but the first one broke within the first 6 uses (no longer stayed level, the metal rest just spun freely, so, it didn't really do anything more than get in the way at that point). I figured maybe it was bad luck and installed the last non-broken one. The new one lasted a good ~20 shots before the metal rest just fell off completely (see picture). I thought this was a good deal, but these aren't worth a dime. Used this with a #40 recurve bow.

Good. One small gripe
My plastic one wore all the way through so i needed a replacement. These are good for the price and i would recommend them and buy them agian. My only issue with these is that the metal bar can move down and the arrow can slide off. Would be nice if they made it more sturdy so the bar could not turn.

Saves my bow from wear & tear
I'm really happy these work so well, now my rubber fletchings aren't rubbing on my bow, wearing down the fletchings and my bow's paint. The magnet is very gentle and releases with just enough force, and the base of it is a sturdy plastic. They do use 3M adhesive so make sure to put them exactly where you want them or it's going to be troublesome to take off, even with alcohol.
