Keto Bars

Love the flavor ,keep me full, great for on the go, great clean ingredients..always have in my pantry

I was really excited about this product as my husband takes a bar every morning for breakfast. We usually buy RxBars, Primal Kitchen and most recently his favorite PureTrim bars (very pricey), so when I saw Perfect Keto was offering a bar I jumped in and bought a box. We love their MCT oil powder, MCT oil, etc. BUT these bars are a disappointment. Firstly, way too cloyingly sweet, with stevia, which lingers on the tongue and fills your whole mouth with sweetener flavor. I know “too sweet” is a relative term because every person may have their idea of sweet, but too both my husband and I, not a fan. The bar itself with the almond butter base had a pretty good texture, maybe a bit chalky, my husband said, but that could be because his was cold at the time of eating it. We are returning the product as we will not be able to eat these with the current sweetness level. Hopefully, in the batches to come from Perfect Keto they will review the recipe and realize that people who are keto, have cut sweet as a whole from their diet, so they don’t crave it, so very little sweetener will go a long way. With natural nut butters I would appreciate salt versus sweet. To end, I bought these bars because I believe in the company, and loved the list of ingredients, collagen, coconut oil, etc. Having been keto/Paleo for over 4 years I thought this may be a nice pack and go, or dessert option, but unfortunately, not for us!

I think a lot of the negative reviews are due to expectations that are way off. Generally, clean Keto bars are not chewy and do not taste quite like regular protein bars. They are crumbly and brittle. It's because of what they need to make them with to keep them Keto friendly. I've had numerous "Keto" bars and these are absolutely delicious.I had seen that another reviewer recommends putting them in the fridge or freezer when you first get them. This is wise (they have a lot of oils that need to congeal again after being exposed to warmer temperatures outside). Funny enough, I liked them cold so much that I just left them in the freezer.My only issue is that these are very pricey. It would be expensive to eat a lot of these on a regular basis. That being said, they are a good treat and I'll be buying more.

Don’t buy the chocolate chip cookie, they are extremely messy, chocolate melts & the bar is hard & poor taste. The salted Carmel is the best one.

I really like these bars. I have to laugh at the poor reviews from people that compare the taste to other bars that are filled with tons of carbs. These are low carb, high fat bars. If you are not a stevia fan then don’t buy them. Simple. Having said that, these bars satisfy hunger and you fill full after consumption. If you are just looking for something that accommodates ketogentic way of eating then these are perfect. No, they don’t taste like some unhealthy candy/protein bar that many people want and are use too.Stop complaining- these bars are pretty good and really satisfy the person who understands keto and know what they can or cannot indulge in. I would have given 5 stars but the only downside is the price. They are a bit pricy and that may weigh against them in reviews when people’s expectations in taste are sized up against the price per bar. I would buy them more often but it gets a little expensive. Maybe the company would benefit in reduction the price and make up their cost by greater sales?

I am a fat adapted "keto" endurance athlete. I was looking for a Keto bar to take with me on rides for BONK insurance. (I haven't bonked in years, but I frequently give my "carry calories" to fellow riders who have)Finding a bar that's Keto friendly is not easy. Most have 20 plus grams of carbs. BTW, If you're on keto, its better to keep a can of sardines in the glove box than a "keto" bar. Anyway, these bars have half that amount. While a step in the right direction, these bars would not make it on my normal diet list, just too carbie for keto. WARNING: This is the kind of product folks on the go use to break a fast with, but If you're not exercising and you break a fast with a fat/carbs/protein mix you are setting yourself up to store fat.Fat storage is not an issue when I'm on a 3-4 hour ride burning a couple thousand calories. What is an issue is the chew. Chewing some of these bars with a dry mouth and breathing heavily is a real chore. These bars have a great consistency that makes them very easy to consume while in the saddle. And the taste is ridiculously good. Habit forming good. So it makes getting some extra energy on a ride enjoyable, effective, and convenient.Bottom line: These sorta/kinda Keto bars taste great and chew easy. I recommend them, but warn my fellow Keto athletes to use with caution.

These are 3x more expensive than the Lara Bars we buy and love and I couldn't even finish one of these because it tasted so horrible. I'm not sure what the taste or ingredient is that makes it so bad but it made me physically sick):

I wanted to purchase the almond butter brownie ones from their main website because they have a discount code for first time buyers but I noticed they didn't carry the 2 new flavors as they did here on amazon which was unfortunate :/ - Hope they update that soon.Anyways...I compare all 3 since I like to try all kinds of bars and tend to stock up on my favoritesI have to say... these are by far the best in terms of quality in the keto bar categoryThe macros are designed for keto, the ingredients are clean, and the taste well...just don't expect it to be your typical granola, snickers, or energy bar,this bar targets a specific purpose and they did that with an A++My favorite is the new lemon poppyseed, no crazy tangy sweetness and has a lighter taste than the other two.Salted caramel comes in second place, the balance between sweet and salty is just right.Almond butter brownie tastes like...almond butter, not so much the brownie part.All 3 bars have this chalky texture, when you break it in half it doesnt crumble to pieces,its solid but smooth to bite into.I am a new loyal fan :) cheers!
