i used grey pneumatic sockets at my job at an industrial assy. plant where they had the "house" air supply closer to 125 pounds than the usual 90 pounds and they were bullet proof on those impact guns doing 10 hour shifts. i have several sets of them but that was over 5 years ago now so if they havent changed since then their stuff is truly " industrial grade".

Had to do some bottom end engine work and didn't have 12 point sockets. Grab these as the price was good and from what I've heard it's a great company that makes great tools.Yes it's not made in USA but for the price you really can't go wrong. Sockets fit great on the nuts and bolts I used them on.

How long will they last? In my home garage, I'm sure it will be my lifetime.How did they perform on initial use? No issues.Modern metallurgy has allowed for these impact-rated 12-pt sockets which are as thin as standard hand-rated tools. Honestly... that's incredible. There are no sacrifices now, while it used to be size vs. durability.I will rarely use these with an impact gun, as I wield a 1/2" tool wearing 6-pt sockets when I need that feature, but occasionally you need a 12-pt that can take some abuse. These will do the trick.The two torture tests mine survived this week:1. Attached to an impact gun capable of over 200 ft/lb (real-world) loosing torque, and hammered on for 20 seconds straight.2. When that didn't work, attached to a 5' breaker bar, which succeeded.Those head bolts were supposed to be 75 ft/lbs, but the trial these sockets endured says that thermal expansion over the years modified that spec somewhat.My old 12-pt JCPenny socket shattered when I first attempted this feat with a standard long-handle wrench. Clearly, these GP sockets are tough enough to hold their own. I highly recommend them.

Bought the 12-pointed set because I needed them to work on some Nissans. Have bought grey pneumatic before and the quality is outstanding. Used them all the time when I was working as a tech at the dealership. Abused the hell out of them and never broke a single one. Way cheaper than snap on or matco without sacrificing quality. Highly recommend this brand.

Great socket set for 1/3 of the price compared to snap on set. I work in heavy caterpillar equipment and work real good 👍
