He is 3 and super active. Since he has apraxia of speech he has trouble communicating with anyone outside the family who understands his signs. He weighs 40 pounds and it still fits him well. The only drawback in the design is that I wish that the leash that connects to the back of the harness was easier to disconnect. It has to be threaded through the back but it is a very secure hold.
