Lots of storage
Great storage for long trips. It fit perfectly on the passenger seat. The only complaint is that the rain protective cover could have been a bit bigger. I had a hard time getting it to fit over the bag and the sissy bar.

Plenty of bag for your buck.
I just started taking overnight trips on my bike. On my first trip, I packed my gear and clothes in a large bright yellow dry bag strapped every which way to my bike. I looked like a Beverly Hillbilly. After more jabs and advice from my friends than I wanted, and way too much time researching bike luggage on the internet, I landed on this bag.Long story short, this is a bad a** bag! So many things I like. First, it’s plenty big plus it has expandable sides. My stuff either fits in this bag or it’s not going. It’s also got a small detachable roll bag that on my last trip I stuffed with a Kroger bag holding my stinky wet river shoes and trunks.Construction seems solid. It’s hard-sided so it keeps its shape even if not jam-packed. Mesh pockets on the inside, including a large one on the opening flap, keeps little stuff (socks, underwear, toiletries) organized. And if you end the zippers on the top of the bag, you can get stuff out without even removing it from the bike. It also has a map pocket, plus five exterior pockets with their own tension straps to keep gear battened down. And then there’s the little stuff, like Velcro flaps and strap holders to keep them from flapping in the wind. Hand straps for carrying. And even shoulder straps if you want to carry like a backpack. My biggest concern was how the bag would attach to the bike. My yellow dry bag kept shifting to the side, which is NOT good. This bag’s got a smart adjustable sleeve that slips over the backrest with steel rods on either side to tension fit wide or skinny or even angled backrests. Quick release snaps hold the bag securely to the bike and make it easy to get off, too. I strap my bag facing forward so it’s a backrest which is great for long rides.Luggage is one of those things you don’t get excited about until you need it and don’t have it. If you are in the market for bike luggage, save yourself some time and money – I did my research. This is plenty of bag for your buck.

Sides do not open
Im headed to Leasburge Bikefest this weekend and needed a new bag. I bought this one because the picture showed the sides opening up. THEY DO NOT. Its a small inconvenience to have to unhook the roll bag every time I want in and out of the main bag but enough of one to bug me. My old bag opened on both sides it is a major convenience.

Nice!!!
This is a review on a Viking bag I recently purchased (large leather motorcycle sissy bar bag). This bag is pretty cool to be fair. The sides are expandable, the side pockets are expandable and there are two front pockets one of which has room for ID and pens, etc. There's even a little pocket on top for all those silly things you need like chargers and gum, LOL. The braces for the sissy bar are relocatable so that helps and it is like in the picture the little bag on top actually comes with it! Speaking of things that come with it a full-size rain cover that is reinforced, two carrying straps for the bags and holy cow it even comes with a backpack strap. The inside of the big bag is quite roomy and as I said it's expandable in case you need just a little more room, it appears to be washable as there is a zipper to take out the rigid frame that is inside and to connect it to the little bag there are straps that snap in. I was skeptical when I purchased this bag, but honestly I'm blown away. I love this bag, the zippers are durable, the fabric seems incredibly sturdy and it feels like everything was taken into account in the design. I'm pretty convinced I'm gonna have to buy a couple more for gifts!

Lots of space and nice quality!
I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of this sissy bar bag combo. I love that the smaller rounded bag on top can detach. I have been using this smaller bag on it's own on my small jaunts around town to hold my large reusable water bottles, sunscreen and hat by just attaching it to my sissy bar with a netted bungee cord. It is a nice addition to the larger bag that holds more things than my boarder bag I fly with for work! I have been looking at sissy bar bags for more long distance trips and this material rivals the HD bags I was looking at. I dont feel like I sacrificed space or durability by going with the Viking bag. I used zipties to secure the excess material from the straps that anchor the back to my fender/rear lights and do need a bungee cord to secure it to my sissy bar since this bag looks like it is made more for the wider back for a sissy bar/backrest versus a plain sissy bar. In my opinion this doesnt detract from the value, so Ill stick with the five stars regardless.

Great bag- never worry about your stuff!
I'm really impressed with this bag! Not only is there plenty of space and compartments for storage, the material seems VERY sturdy. I have always had a hard time being able to carry all of my gear/supply for weekend motorcycle trips, but I don't think I will have that issue anymore. In the photos, you'll see the bag laying open on a love seat couch and I put my small helmet inside to show how much room there is. If you're looking to pack light, this bag may not be for you. But for those of us who do longer trips or camping trip, I think will hold everything you might need minus a full-size camping chair.Couple of really awesome features:-the rain cover is heavy duty- I feel like my stuff will actually be dry in this bag-there are straps to wear as a backpack and to mount to the sissy bar-the top cylinder is removable if you need less stuff. So, if you want to pack lighter, you can.
