Beautiful story!
The book is excellent as are all of Patricia Polacxoโs beautifully illustrated and poignant stories. Tears were with me as I read this book... Itโs soulful, and speaks to those who see the beauty in the world yet may be on the outskirts of society. Delivery was also excellent!

Patricia Polacco can reach from the pages of her books and touch your heart!
I am collecting Patricia Polacco books for my children. We received our first, "bun bun button" in the mail through a program called Books from Birth that is sponsored by Dolly Parton. Children who are signed up at birth for this free program receive one book per month till they are five years and go to school. (Excellent Charity but that's another review) This particular book is full of mystery and finding reasons to hope. It is an excellent book. All of hers are. Patricia Polacco never fails to touch the heart.

I Can Hear the Sun
The book arrived promptly. It was in as good condition as described. It has a sad but nice message about homeless people lives. The kids enjoyed the reading. It was used as part of a Language Arts exercise. Thanks!

A timeless tale of love between humans and animals
This story of love between a boy and a blind Canada goose is a beautiful one and sadly, a connection that society is destroying with lies. We need to seek to connect with animals again because our lives depend on it; this world needs love, not hatred, not war. I highly recommend this book for all ages!

I can hear the sun
I get Patricia Polacco's books for a daughter that's a teacher. I always read them before she and her class them. She writes wonderful stories.

Please make sure you read it alone before you read it with a child.
Nicely written, beautifully illustrated, but (spoiler alert) a mostly-unloved child vanishes and thatโs a happy ending??

I can hear the sun
I enjoyed the book and was so happy that the child was coming out of his shell and things were going better for him, and then he just fly's away with the geese? What kind of an ending is that? Not impressed with ending at all.
