Tibetan yak bone beads are used to honor the animals that serve humankind and to inspire practitioners to likewise serve others. The bone is sometimes carved into skull-shaped beads as this is meant to represent the impermanence of life. Prayer Mala or beads are usually used by Buddhists around the world, especially in Tibet, Nepal and India and used for meditation, counting mantras, and prostration. Malas are worn on the left wrist when not in use, you can use it also as necklace or bracelet by wrapping around your wrist. Helps you Keep calm and also looks good on the wearer!

Very Pretty
Beautiful mala that is easily adjusted to fit arm or wear as a necklace or do as I do, simply loosen the beads a bit to use in meditation. I'm glad I can add this to my favorite malas. I'll carry this one in my purse. It is well-made and strung on a rather thick cord. Plastic, I'm assuming. When I say "thick," I do not mean to imply the mala is bulky. It's just as it should be. The price is exceptional.
