Threads will not fit Mahindra Max 28 xl
Thought I would give this a try, as dealer price on this item is ~$250. It appears almost identical, but it will not work in my tractor. The threads will not catch in the threaded receiving port on the injector pump. Upon closer inspection, it appears that this item has more of a bevel on the end of the threads whereas the original has no bevel, with threads extending all the was to the end. You can see the difference in the photos above. The first two pics are of the original part. The second two are this item. I have seen other comments that this item worked for the same tractor, and I wish that were the case for me, but it will simply not thread in. I will be sending back for a refund.

Built poorly, will work for a while
Product worked fine in my Mahindra tractor for a couple of months. It still works, but fuel now leaks out the back where the wires protrude. I guess that’s why the OEM part is $200 plus and this one is $50. Contacted seller, 7 mos old part only had a 6 mos warranty. Offered me a discount on a replacement. Think I’ll look for a better quality unit.
