REK GEN 'Merica Mud Flaps (Gray)

No Instructions was the biggest issue and a piece that was included didn't need to be used for the install. If all the mud flaps need 3 bolts to be installed then i was shortened when checking my inventory. I did figure out a way to install them but had to do a lot of measurements to make sure they looked right. Over all it was an easy install because I have installed aftermarket items before and figured it out. They look great and make my truck even better to look at. Almost ready for the truck show.

These mud flaps are awesome! I got the universal black merica flaps for my F-150 with fender flares on it. The flaps were easy to install however, I do recommend making sure not to only use the fender pinching hardware. I did have to replace a single flap after losing one because of the way I originally installed them. The customer service at Rek Gen is phenomenal and they helped me to get the correct replacement at a great price. I feel like we both got a great deal and in the end my truck and others behind me are protected. I highly recommend this product and love the way the manufacturer backs it up. Thank you Rek Gen!!!

The flaps themselves are very rugged and have a nice look. They should hold up indefinitely. I get many compliments on the patriotic American Flag portion. Are they worth the price? Ehhh.... the weird metal clamping bracket(s)? They provide are of poor design in my opinion and since they provide nylon locking nuts, once you tighten them up once, you’re committed. If you try to back the nut off to adjust, the studs will snap off and that’s even if un-doing by hand. Ultimately I junked the provided hardware and used my own. At the end of the day I’m happy with the look and performance but they are at the higher end of the price spectrum.

Great mud flaps! I didnt realize untill after i got them that you can get vehicle specific ones on their site but these gave me more options to fit them how i wanted with just a little trimming

This is actually my second purchase of these, first one for a 09 Taco, this purchase is for my 2011 Tundra. Honestly these look GREAT! To that point, I do highly recommend, especially if you're a patriot like myself. However...as I think some other reviews state...you can pretty much just throw the hardware they give you away... No instructions either and im not new to being handy or comfortable with projects on vehicles but the price of these should come with better instructions/hardware. The long metal brackets make no sense...maybe it's just me. I never used them on my Tacoma either. Long story short, I ended up getting my own custom hardware at the local hardware store. I custom fabricated my own holes in my wheel wells, threaded some 2" bolts and ran them through into these bad boys. (had to do the same for the Taco) The flaps themselves ROCK, very durable, and I always get compliments! I'd still buy again!

I definitely like the look of these and since they are required by my local laws, I found these to be the better option than installing those trashy farm truck auto parts store specials. The only negative I have is that it’s frustrating marking the mounting holes and getting these straight. They are NOT predrilled so it’s all In you. I wouldn’t recommend these if you are looking for a direct bolt-on application but if you are handy and comfortable measuring and drilling, then absolutely get these!

The width was awesome and perfect for keeping the mud off my truck.

Install definitely took me some time doing the customizing needed for a good fit but turned out so nice. Plenty of hardware options for a secure install.
