Kid's Guide to Boston (Kid's Guides Series)

We are planning a family trip and I bought this for my grandson. My daughter said it was the best guide of all the guides that each family member received. They particularly like the rapid transit (The T) pull out map. More importantly my 8 year old grandson liked the guide.

I returned it because I was looking for kid's book for my kids about Boston. BUT its a really good book for someone who isn't already familiar with the area and looking for some great things to do!

I wanted to like this more than I did. The information isn't presented in a very kid friendly manner and it was a little dated. It is Boston specific and I couldn't find much else in the is category for children. So it's okay, I guess.

I bought this book to give to to my nine year old niece to read before she came to visit us in Boston. The writing is totally geared to kids and she really enjoyed. There are lots of great ideas for things to do in Boston.

Good book for tweens to decide what historic stops they would like to make!!

I really can't tell if the contents of the book are worthwhile. The pages look like 5th generation photostats, so it actually hurts our eyes to try to read it. We bought a copy for us and a copy for the friends we are traveling with, but we won't give them this unreadable book.

Not just for the kids but it also would be useful for adults :)

My eight year old has really enjoyed this book and it has been fun to read together before going on our visit to Boston.

Not very useful. My 8 year old wasn't interested in reading what other kids 'tips' were (not very good tips in my opinion) and it has very little useful information about Boston.
