Legendary Athlete Magic Johnson write his live, love, and Faith of God.

I've followed his career and got to see him play towards the end of his career, so it was good to hear about how the early days went with his family, how he chose Michigan State and his journey with the Lakers and battling HIV. He is remarkably candid and it felt like he was talking to you in an interview. Great book for fans and still a fun read years after it was published.

The book is outstanding. I really enjoy athlete autobiographies and this is by far one of my favorite.

Too bad Earvin got involved with groupies instead of marrying Cookie from the get go, wouldn't have changed his basketball ability. A little bit of a let down from a MSU Spartan's standpoint. loved the stories of my boyhood idle, Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

I wasn't sure about this book but I am glad I purchased and read it. Very easy to read and a really fun read, Magic is very conversational and gives good insights and honesty. This book was written a while back, but if you are interested in Magic or bball I recommend this one!

Interesting to see the other teams culture

It was a good book about the beginning years of Earvin becoming Magic Johnson, playing the game, dating and marrying Cookie, adjusting to life with HIV, and retiring from the game. I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading, Mrs. Cookie Johnson's new book to be released, Sept. 20th, Believing in Magic.

I love Magic. He is super and made a wonderful difference in the NBA. Great book and he is blessed to have his wonderful wife, she completes him. He has done awesome things off the basketball court as well. His parents should be very proud of him. Great read for our youth to stay inspired and try and achieve their dreams. He won't be forgotten.

My Life ist ein wirklich tolles Buch über einen der besten Spieler in der Geschichte der NBA.Obwohl diese Biographie schon ein paar Jahre alt ist (erschienen 1993), konnte ich mich kaum von Ihr trennen.Das Buch wirft einen wirklich tollen Rückblick auf die Karriere von Earvin "Magic" Johnson.Angefangen von seiner Kindheit in Lansing (Michigan) über seinen Werdegang bei Michigan State bis zu seiner großen NBA Karriere bei den Lakers. Seine großen Duelle mit Larry Bird und den Celtics, seine NBA Campionships, sein vorzeitiges Karriereende und seinen Kampf mit seinem größten Gegner dem HIV Virus. Bewundernswert auch wie er den Kampf mit eben diesem Virus aufgenommen hat und sich selber zu einem großen Kopf im Kampf gegen Aids gemacht hat. Es ist mehr als eine Sportler Biographie.Dieses Buch skizziert auf spannende Art und Weise Magic`s Leben. Johnson kommt dabei immer sehr ehrlich und äußerst sympathisch rüber, vor allem dann wer er über seine Niederlagen auf und abseits des Basketball Courts spricht. Interessant auch seine Sicht auf die NBA und seine Mitspieler und Gegner. Wenn man ein Buch über einen großen Sportler und einer tollen Person lesen will, ist man bei Magic Johnson`s My Life genau richtig.
