HTC One M8, Glacial Silver 32GB (AT&T)

The HTC One M8 is a sexy phone. There, I said it.As far as Andorid OS phones go, HTC has the market cornered. The high-def display, the impeccable sound quality of the front facing speakers, the incredible battery life and the wide array of apps available through the Google Play Store makes this the must have phone.The form factor of this device is a pleasure to hold. It has considerable weight and is sturdy. The glass touch screen is slick and responsive and the aluminum backing feels great against the palm. The phone is slippery though, so consider getting a low-profile case that keeps the design ultra-thin while eliminating the drop potential.Call quality on this phone is perfect while multimedia sound is hands down the best I have ever heard on a smart phone.I know a lot of people loathe Sense UI, HTC's proprietary overlay, but I love it and I am pleased to see a revised version on this device.For a beautiful and sleek phone that has more bells and whistles than you can ever use, be sure to make the HTC One M8 your next phone.

This phone is akin to a work of art. As soon as you pick it up and look at it you will be impressed with the marvelous craftsmanship and beauty of the design.Pros:-Sturdy build. Look-up "HTC M8 drop test" on youtube. It beat out it's peers.-Water resistant. Look-up HTC M8 water test as well and you will be amazed that this phone, which is not advertised as being waterproof, withstood 5 minutes of total submersion in a bathroom sink full of water and survived without a problem.-The two forward facing speakers are incredible. If you are an audio-freak and have an ear for tones then you will love the crisp and clear highs as well as the booming low frequencies. I have never heard a cellphone with speakers this loud.-The screen and resolution is wonderful- a pleasure to watch videos on.-Camera lenses. The front facing camera is high-resolution and great for selfies, whereas the back camera is lower resolution but great at taking photos especially in low-light conditions.Cons:-The only con to this phone was the operating system. Without bashing android or raving about iOS... I will simply state my experience, which was that the camera froze up on me twice (I was not able to leave the camera mode until I completely turned off the phone) and the touch screen was unresponsive a few times. I know this is not such a big deal but I want a phone that is completely bug-free because I am used to having 100% functional phones in the past.I returned the phone this month (November) and will await the new model (M9) which should be coming out in March/April 2015.Mind you, I am on neither side of the fence and will buy any phone which brings together a superior high-quality product, which is easy to use, is a good value, and very practical.In my opinion, apple insulted prospective buyers recently when it offered it's base model with only 16GB -the same as the iphone4 back in 2010. A disgrace.

I LOVE this phone. Have always loved HTC products, and for a time period, had a Samsung S4 Active. While Samsung has a lot of perks, I never liked that phone! I always hated the actual phone part, how you answer it, and texts were delayed as well. Boo! Always buggy, delayed screen response, etc. etc. etc. But the HTC ONE M8 is such an awesome phone! LOVE the music application. LOVE the photography application. So user friendly too. It's lightweight, and the only thing I wish, is that I would've got the gunmetal gray one. But still yet, when it's in the case, you never notice anyway. I also forgot to mention the outside speaker system. BEST ONE I HAVE EVER HEARD. This phone is amazing. If you are an Android lover all the way, I highly recommend this phone. You will love it from the moment it comes out of the box. HTC ROCKS! Love their products!!!

Despite having bought it new, this phone had major issues a week after I activated it. In any phone call, my voice could not be heard, even with the microphone unmuted, and I could not connect to mobile data We used it as a BYOP to Straight Talk. Despite having sucess with the BYOP program before, for whatever reason this phone could not perform 2 of its major functions. I even called technical support for Straight Talk and HTC. Straight Talk was able to help us reconfigure settings to connect to mobile data, but no one was able to resolve the issue. I'm returning the phone.

The phone is okay. While aesthetically, the phone looks amazing. Durability is questionable. A drop or a hard bump resulted in a bruised phone. It is also slippery smooth to hold, but most people buy a case that alleviates the problem anyways. I do experience some freezes and Android lags from time to time, but that also happens many phones out there. Overall, it is a great looking phone but has its own share of problems with it.

I bought a phone like this several years ago, and it lasted for over 3 years. it finally died because the battery couldn't hold a charge for very long, and the charge port was too worn out to charge properly. Overall I loved that phone and highly recommended it and I think 3 years is a good lifespan. When I gave in and looked for a new one, I couldn't find one that I liked better, so I got the same kind. this new one started acting up within 45 days. I can make and receive calls, but nobody can hear me talking. The microphone is not blocked or clogged, it just doesn't work. If you get this phone, then make sure you get the extra warranty that amazon sells for it. I did not and the seller doesn't care.
