Great!
Brilliant.Installation was fairly easy. I had very little room to work in and too long a spanner - with proper tools and/or a bigger airing cupboard it would've been a piece of cake. It took me probably a bit less than an hour, I then had to fit a plug socket in my airing cupboard which took about 20 mins.I don't think there's much they could do to make installation easier really. Maybe include a pipe slice or offer an option that can be wired directly in directly. Who has sockets in their bathroom? All in all though I can't complain, it didn't take long to fit and I learned a few things along the way.Performance is great. Just brilliant. My shower literally did not work before. Maybe a little dribble on a good day. Now it works very well, with the small quirk of having to turn on a hot water tap first to get the pump going. It does have a manual mode, so I could wire up a switch or hook into the lights, etc but I'm happy enough with it like this. It could a limitation with the mixer shower we have.Hot water pressure is noticeably improved throughout the house. It seems to take about half the time to run a bath now. It really is brilliant, I can't overstate how good this thing is. Everyone's house and plumbing is different of course so your milage may vary.It is a little bit noisy. I can't really hear it at all in the bathroom but you can hear it in the next room and the kitchen which is underneath the bathroom. Mainly only when it's powering down, it groans for a few seconds.I haven't used any other hot water pumps but did look at reviews and installation videos for a Salamander pump. The Salamander would be considerably more expensive and probably not DIY friendly. I can say without a doubt that this beats the Salamander on cost and ease of installation. I imagine the Salamander would perform a bit better (it'd have to right?) but this is good enough. You can install a second one to increase pressure even further, which would still be cheaper and easier than the alternatives but 1 works well enough for me.

Easy to install and it works well
It was installed in a gravity fed hot water system with main cold water. It was easy to install and works well. It is reasonably quiet although we can hear the sound of pump in a kitchen down stairs (bath room is above kitchen) as the noise transfer through the hot water copper pipe. We only used it for three times but so far I am happy. Hope it is reliable.I have coveted the DC 12V connectors with plastic pipe to reduce risk of water gets in the connector in case of accidental leakage as the connectors are not water proof.

Handy for minor water pressure issues.
I have fitted several of these now for various people. The inventor, Alan, is available by phone or e-mail for technical help which is quite handy and he is quite a pleasant guy to talk to. Alan was on dragon's den with this product which helps with minor issues like poor shower or tap pressure due to not enough head. He was rejected by the dragons on his pitch, probably because they have no idea about real world people's plumbing issues and homes as they all live in massive mansions with top of the range unvented cylinders! This pump comes with very good instructions, adaptors for 15 or 22mm pipe and requires a plug socket nearby. It is very quiet and boosts poor flow up to a reasonable level without spending too much money. If you want more pressure than this gives then move up to the larger Salamander pumps which are three or four times the price and more work to fit but give more pressure.

Failed after 18 months
Good product to begin with and did the job well. However, it started acting intermittently and eventually stopped working after 18 months so not within guarantee. I have purchased another of the same for simplicity of swapping over. Let’s see how this one does. Installed 19.03.2023.

Noisy and slow...
I bought this item because living in a bungalow the shower pressure was dismal because of the low tank height. The unit was easy to install and wire in as it only needs a low output power supply. It did increase the flow rate slightly, just enough to make the shower usable, but nowhere near as much as I expected. It was also quite noisy from the start, but I dont have anything to compare it to. Unfortunately now, after 18 months it is failing to start and is even louder when it does start... I will now have to do what I should have done from the start and fit a proper booster pump. If this had been a cheap option I could have perhaps accepted it, but at the price it doesnt seem worth the trouble for 18 months use - buy a proper booster pump and have done with it....

Easy to install and worked well
I have a hot water cylinder and the shower takes its feeds from the cylinder and the cold water tank in my loft (which also feeds into the hot water cylinder). It took a bit of planning to work out where to fit the pumps (my feeds went via the loft, so that's where I put the pumps), and about an hour to cut the pipes and fit the pump. I wired a fused spurred socket into the lighting circuit, and the plug had a fuse built in.I would say you need a fair amount of DIY knowledge to understand how to isolate your plumbing (and electric if you're not just plugging into an existing socket). The fitted the "SP22S", which is one pump on hot and cold, purchased from their website with the extra warranty for £10. It made a big difference to the shower, going from barely usable, to a modest shower (still not as good as you'd expect from a modern combi-boiler shower if you have good water pressure - but much better than it was).
