DOWNHILL
I loved Scentfill, but the last order was awful. It smelled stale. I have gotten this scent before and it smelled like a spa. This time, it smelled like perfume that expired many years ago.

Doesn't smell like patchouli but I still love it
So I love patchouli. I was excited to get this because I was hoping it would actually smell good since it's 100% natural. I hate all the big brand name scents. Bad news, I don't smell ANY patchouli in this at all. Good news, I actually really LOVE the scent. I can't pinpoint what it is that makes it smell like it does, and it's probably, but it's probably a combination of everything (obviously). Patchouli is a very strong scent in my opinion, but this is a very warm, soft scent. It feels very deep and heavy like patchouli does, but it is very sweet in a way that patchouli isn't. Either way, I love it. I feel like they should maybe call it something else other than Patchouli Spa, but what do I know. It was very strong the first couple of days, but it kind of faded fast, which is a little disappointing, but I can still smell it when I enter the room. I've had it for a little over 2 weeks now. Hoping it lasts me at least 3 weeks as these are a bit pricey.

Pick your plug-in like picking perfume/cologne: The mix of your house and the scent is what matters.
This scent is strong, and though it is not made with patchouli oil, it does somehow smell like it, but, to me it is even more like geranium oil mixed with lavender (even though the mix does not contain these oils). To me, it is a strong smell (even on the lowest plug in setting) that is not my favorite. However, it is more cost effective for me because I can use one or two plug ins for my 3,000 sq ft home set on the lowest setting, and unplug them when the scent seems too strong. I put them in the basement-walk-out level, and the smell comes upstairs and is not overpowering, but is just right. Initially, I did not like the smell because I was attached to the Oakmoss, Jasmine, Peppermint odor-neutralizing scent. But, the plug-in (with the Oakmoss scent) set on the lowest level seems to go through the odor-neutralizing scent MUCH quicker, meaning I have to order it more frequently. I will be switching to the Patchouli scent because it lasts longer and makes my 1956 build home smell fresh, and even better than the Oakmoss scent did. * It is important to remember that, like choosing a perfume/cologne for yourself, the smell you choose will mix with the "smell" of your house to either cover-up/work with positively, or accentuate/highlight smells you are trying to cover-up. Try different smells until you like the "chemistry" of your house's natural smell mixed with the plug-in. I like the Oakmoss, but my house smells best with the Patchouli.

“Smells like a spa!”
I have used both the peppermint/rosemary and the patchouli, and find both scents to be outstanding. There is no chemical, irritating odor, just clean herbal scents as advertised. I have gotten a number of positive comments from people regarding these scents, including our letter carrier who didn’t want to leave our foyer - she said our house smelled like a spa! Well, that was exactly my goal, so mission: accomplished! I know some people complain about the price, but just think how much you would spend on good candles to get a similar scent with a fraction of the staying power. If you’ve ever used a Glade or other name-brand plug-in, you know that most of the scents are downright obnoxious. They are in-your-face and smell like cheap perfume. These smell like essential oils - nothing more, nothing less, and I think they are worth every penny.

Not great
Although natural this is not a great patchouli. It is not the worst one that I have smelled, but I was hoping for something better. Unfortunately I foolishly bought a rather expensively priced pack of 3, and having opened and used one of the refills I am unable to claim a refund. I may try another scent from this house, who delivered within the time frame, but this one is a pass.

Natural oils, no chemicals
Are use a glade plug-in with this scent, and then I adjust the plug-in on the low side, and the perfect amount of patchouly is released into the air! Reminds me of my teenage years.

Not even a little like Patchouli
If you are looking for the deep, woodsy and sensual scent akin to hippies…not this, ever. Almost burns my sinus. Also leaked and was on the paper wrapped in for shipping. Got all over my hands and had to wash them multiple times to try and get rid of scent. It’s strong, yes…just NOT patchouli.
