I was looking for a gift for a friend who enjoys safaris and he was delighted when he opened this book. It manages to convey the beauty of the landscapes and the diversity of the fauna while at the same time showing that the culinary experience of a safari does not have to be limited to beans and jerky. I look forward to using some of the recipes myself.

As someone who loves African safaris this book is far more than just a cookbook. It takes me back to the camps in the bush, the truly extraordinary meals and memorable settings, and the wonderful men and women who prepare the food with the flair and dedication of Michelin rated chefs. The bonus is the recipes are great and we have used several of them with excellent results. Highly recommended.

Good Book!

I saw this book in our private lounge during our Safari trip in South Africa. The food was amazing there and I decied to try to found it on Amazon. I'm so glad I've found it! This Edition is even better and this is must have for everyone who likes to cook different food and who dreams about Safari. And one year later I've ordered it again as a gift for my friend.

Ottimo libro di cucina, bellissime fotografie. Questa catena di alberghi e safafi camp è veramente molto particolare. Da sperimentare certamente!

Not really keen on the rhino or wildebeast poo - the ostrich surprise was palatable but a bit of a shock
