The ideas discussed are rich; a reader will find themselves rereading this book to find new insights to incorporate into their teaching practices. This book should not only be a must read for instructors but can also be used by parents to help motivate their children's love of knowledge. Finally, to echo another reviewer, the subtitle misleads readers into thinking that this book is specific to education in an urban setting. Duncan-Andrade has written a book that is both essential and relevant to any learning environment.
