Glad I ordered this book. good seller.

A very nice quality book with excellent page feel. It would have been nice if some of the pages were in color but that did not detract from the overall view quality of the models. This book did however lack diversity, you see the same guys over and over again. I plan to purchase more books by Sherwin Carlquist.

I love Dr. Carlquist's work. I first came across one of his books at A Different Light bookstore in West Hollywood. I immediately connected to his work and grabbed it up. I've been a fan ever since.This his his 4th book, published in 2002. It features 212 black and white photos and is a huge 12 x 12. They just don't make beautiful photo books like this any more!From the book:"The striking landscapes of Bryce Canyon, Zion, the Escalante Staircase and other places in southern Utah add intense feeling to the photos in this book, in which desert sandstones from California also play a conspicuous role.
