Cool Book w/ Cool Illustrations
It's not 5 stars since it's new vs. vintage, but the Alexander Calder illustrations are groovy! The fables are in an old English, so a bit harder to understand.... but fun little book.

Thousands of Years and Still Relevant
Although the drawings are sort of shocking, Aesop's Fables are over 3,000 years of good advice.

Not for kids
I can see the value of this book, but it's certainly not right for kids. The line drawings clearly depict the genitals of all the humans in the book. Also, the text originally dates from 1692 and again, would not be comprehensible to children. If you're specifically searching for line drawings by Alexander Calder, and text in old-English language, then this is the book for you. If you're just searching for an enjoyable set of Aesop's fables that you can share with kids, this is not the best choice.

Fun - Calder drawings
This was a fun little book. I bought it for the Calder drawings and was not disappointed.

graphic pictures
The drawings were cool but I bought this for children and the drawings were more explicit than I thought were wanted for kids. The people have anatomically correct parts and there are quite a few humans in the book.
