I Want To Wear These All Year Long
These are the shoes I am most comfortable in, too bad I live where it gets extremely cold. I ordered the Woman's Z/2 Classic Sandal in black because that is what my sister has and recommended, and I really do love them. I have owned them for over 2 years and have washed them countless times and they still look amazing. I have a very narrow foot, so mine are adjusted tightly and the strap trails a bit, so I just tuck it under; I know you can cut it off and melt the end, but I haven't done that. They came a card that gave links to video's to you can adjust them to fit your foot, those were helpful. I can't wait for spring so I can start wearing these again.

If they fit you will never want to take them off. Try sizing DOWN not up. Don't buy your first pair online.
Pair one, Z2 with the new sole. I'm a solid 7.5, so I sized up to 8 like Chaco says. The toe strap tightened as I walked. Every 50 feet, I had to stop and adjust my straps. Chaco says it's a "known issue for some people" and "easily fixable" so they do it for free! Except for the $20 I had to pay in shipping and the 2.5 weeks I had to wait. And they still tighten as I walk. And hey, Chaco, if this is a known issue, have you thought about not selling shoes with a known issue that is "easily fixable?" Like maybe you could "easily fix" it BEFORE you sell them?In the meantime, I bought a pair of ZX1s. This time, I sized DOWN. They fit perfectly, and no spontaneous strap tightening! But then one day it drizzled in Seattle (that happens occasionally). Those new soles are SLIPPERY on wet sidewalks! I was terrified the entire four blocks. They also just did not feel very attached to my foot. Sort of the opposite of a flip-flop.Today I exchanged pair two for Z2 NPF Yellowstones, also in 7. Walked about a mile and a half home. No toe strap tightening! No discomfort! In fact, extreme comfort! Great support. I don't want to take them off.The first pair I bought here. Thankfully, I used promotional credit and they were on sale. I can't wear them and I can't return them. If you have never worn Chacos, buy them from a place where you can return. I bought my second pair which I exchanged for my third at a local outdoor coop.

Tighten on their own when wearing…
I bought these because I’ve had a pair for YEARS and they finally gave up. I know this style is the “next generation” of the same sandal - the same way the strap are threaded - I was happy when I received them and tried them on…but each time I’ve worn them - about 5 times - I start off with the straps adjusted and comfortable how I like and then throughout movement and the day - they tighten ON THEIR OWN! Especially around the toe! It is uncomfortable and annoying. I am no longer in the return window - I may call the product support number - but I wanted to leave a review based on my experience. Sad face.

LOVE THESE
I absolutely LOVE these sandals. I started walking several months ago as part of a weight loss program. I noticed right away, despite that I normally wear Vionic (orthotic) shoes, the back of my right knee started bothering me despite not having any type of injury. It turns out it is hamstring tendinitis, and it was being aggravated by the hard surface that I was walking on. Through a little research I decided to try Chaco sandals and am I glad I did! They are comfortable, and they are built so well that they literally take the shock completely out of my walk and my knee does not give me any problems while wearing them. I highly recommend these if you walk regularly on hard surfaces..

Chacos fan for over 15 years!
Got a new simple all black pair to take on recent beach vaca. Walked many miles in these and also used them in and out of the water which is why I love this brand. They will last forever! I own several pair in regular width but these “Wide” width seemed slightly more comfortable on longer 5+ mile walks up and down lots of hills and rocky terrain. I have average to slightly wide feet but don’t normally require wide width in most shoes.

I highly recommend, especially if you want comfort, ruggedness, and durability
These are extremely well-made sandals- appropriate for any type of warm-weather outdoor activity. At first, I had trouble getting my feet into the straps, even though I don't typically buy wide shoes, however after some play with the straps, I was able to adjust them perfectly. I'd recommend some patience when first trying them on. The straps really are very, very adjustable, but it may take some time to get them right for your own feet. Once you do that, and wear them once or twice, you're good to go- no struggle getting into them.I've worn them in the park and during trips out with my kayak. They are perfect because they are lightweight, and can be worn in the water, yet they have an undeniable athletic feel, and can likely take quite a beating. I highly recommend these for anyone with low arches, as these provide tremendous arch support. The reason for the four stars is that there is almost too much arch support for me, although I don't think that will impact my comfort overall, once they are fully broken in. I would definitely buy more if not for the price, but I also know these will last.

Great Deal & Comfortable for Flat Feet!
This is my first pair of Chaco’s and it won’t be my last. I got the 7 Wide since my feet are extremely flat. I usually wear a 7-8 depending on the shoe and these sandals fit like an absolute glove! There is just enough room to where my feet sit nicely in the shoe, but isn’t overly long, or two short. The strap adjustment is awesome, especially for the toe part. I also got these for $40 which is a steal!
