I am SO glad that I read some advice about weighted blankets before ordering this product. I read that it was important to purchase one with a removable cover. Blankets without covers are cheaper, but they are heavy and therefore difficult to wash. This product had an odor straight out of the box, as all new products do. The cover was easy to wash. I washed it in cold and hung it to dry. With the included instructions, it was easy to place the weighted blanket securely inside the cover.Thankfully, I also read about the correct weight to purchase. (A friend purchased a blanket that was way too heavy for her child, thinking she need to buy a big blanket to cover the bed like a bedspread.)My son has ADD and often has trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. He LOVES the feel of this blanket. He says it makes his body feel heavy, the way that it would if he were exhausted. Since he has had this, he has fallen asleep quickly and stayed asleep through the night. He loves it so much, he even took it to camp with him. During hot nights at camp, when it was too hot to sleep completely under the blanket, he placed part of the blanket across his torso and that still helped.This is definitely worth the investment. I will be purchasing one for myself soon.

The blanket appears to be well made. our child loves it. I’m 71. Wish I’d found this 25 years ago! Bought the “lap Snuggie” (36x48 5#) and the first night fell asleep watching tv. That night I slept under it and only woke up twice (usual:5x). The next morning, I ordered the 7# 41x60 and I’m in heaven. It’s the perfect size , I’m 5’4” and doesn’t crowd out my husband in the queen size bed. I decided to keep the lap one. I’m snuggly and mellow with it on my lap and I get sleepy and am not at all tempted to stay up watching episode after episode on Netflix. And BTW it comes with a cover, a fabulous cover. Other blankets charge around $40 for the cover, and I’m thinking I got a great deal on a high quality blanket. I’m beginning to ramble. Think I’ll go to bed :)

I recently bought this weighted blanket my daughter. Who was having some restless nights. After just one night I can tell you it really does the job. My daughter said "Dad that was THE BEST NIGHT SLEEP EVER" :) and she woke up feeling fresh and super relaxed. No more waking up in the middle of the night.She also loved the fact that one side is warm and the other side is cold- good job guys with the Bamboo fabric!!! That's a great idea. Feels super soft and love that is hypoallergenic also! It's also super easy to clean since it's machine washable. Love it!On top of everything we also got a free storage bag - that was pretty impressive!

I purchased this for my 8 yr old son who literally goes nonstop until bedtime. It takes him a while to wind down once laying in bed and the blanket and decreases the wind down time greatly and I find his breathing to be deeper and more relaxed quite quickly. We are headed on a road trip and will be bringing it with. I have an adult sizes one since Christmas and my anxiety and sleep has improved 10 fold. So relieved my son is seeing benefits from it. Perfect size for my 7 yr old, he's not a fan of blankets AT ALL but took to this one immediately. I like that there's no shifting of beads like in other weighted blankets we've used and that even the non minky side is soft enough for sensitive skin. There's a little bit of a crinkly sound to it but not bothersome to us. I think the note/tips from the seller was a sweet, personalized touch. Definitely recommend!

I have two boys with ADHD. I bought this for one of my boys to try out to help calm him down when he does his homework as his meds have usually worn off by the end of the day and needs some additional help with focus and settling down. His tutor wrapped him in the blanket and she said it worked like magic. We used it for a few nights sleep and he liked it, but my older son brought it to his room and has been sleeping with it since. Looks like I may have to purchase another one!

Very nice. Well-made, with 100% cotton on the blanket. Nice sized little quilted pockets to hold the weight beads. Plus, they include the duvet with one side 100% bamboo fabric (nice and cool); and the other side a plush baby blanket feel. I purchased the 41 x 60 Kids, 7 lb. it is for me, but I don’t have any actual therapeutic reason. I just wanted a slight weight to a throw-size cover. It’s perfect for what I wanted it for. It also came with a carry bag. Useful for something else, but I won’t be travelling with the blanket.

Highly recommend Our son loves it. Bought this for our son who suffers from anxiety due to a car accident earlier this year. We have noticed big improvements in his sleeping. He falls asleep faster and has less nightmare and wake ups through the night.he loves how soft it is and now that its warm the cooler side is his favourite. Look forward to more better sleep.
