Best piece of equipment I've ever come across. This machine makes my life so much easier. I use it to roast all sorts of things, chestnuts, peanuts, peppers, coffee. I love that I can just set the temperature go away and come back in ten minutes and everything is roasted to perfection. It's a great deal if you like to roast your own foods and the nonstick surface makes the taste very clean since nothing sticks onto the machine. I've used this roaster for almost a year now, at least 3 times every month and it's still going strong.

There's a learning curve largely based on your understanding of each of the roasting stages and what you're actually trying to accomplish with different times and temps. I've had the best luck drying the beans at uncovered 170/180, ramping it up as it gets yellow to 190 to brown it into the Maillard reaction, usually babysitting the lid at this point to wipe down condensation. Once you're pretty confident there's no moisture left at all, crank to 240 until first crack, let it ride a couple mins, and then trust your nose at the very first sign of oils burning (since a few are always uneven anyway, then take it back down to 200 or 210 to develop. It will continue to crack for a bit as it turns its final color. Don't trust the color you see through the lid as the haziness from condensed oil vapors will trick your eyes, a couple of my first burnt batches were due to just that. Pretty good deal as a roaster, will report back on durability

Barely works. Regret buying. It takes forever to roast and very hard to get reliable first crack. I’ll be buying a different one and maybe this will come in handy for some random thing in the future.

Absolutely impressed with this coffee roaster ☕🔥 The roast came out smooth, balanced, and full of flavor with an amazing aroma. Super easy to use and gave me way better results than I expected for home roasting. You can really control the roast level and bring out different tasting notes in the beans. Perfect for anyone serious about fresh coffee and espresso. Highly recommend 👏

Great beginner roaster, I've done about 100 roasts over the last 2 years with it. As you can see in the video it unfortunately loses potency with time so now it doesn't reach 200degC even on the highest setting. Longer roast time, currently about 40 minutes for 400 grams of beans for a light city roast dries the beans to a point where they lose flavor, I don't think I could achieve a dark roast anymore. Still a lot of learning and joy over those 2 years and at that price point I think I'll get another one. Super easy to clean, up to a pound of beans in a roast, and the price are the highlights. The noisy drive that won't let you hear the pop and longevity are the downsides.

I was not sure if I was ordering a dud or not. Honestly this product is awesome and so easy to use. Once you figure out the time needed to roast. We started at 20 minutes, and they looked beautiful but tasted like burnt coffee. We found the magic time which was 17 minutes. After roasting we pour them out on to a cookie sheet and let them sit for 24-48 hours before grinding. We love this product.

Well..... this worked pretty well right up until the 5th time I use it to roast coffee. The glass lid exploded about 10 minutes into the roast. I am hoping for a refund.

It broke first use but the warranty I bought doesn’t cover it so soon. Huge ordeal to return for refund want a new one but I doubt they’ll replace it huge waste of money at this point.
