Worth grabbing for a good price
Dolin dry is my favourite dry vermouth and the rouge is excellent too. A step up from Martini Rosso, it's a little drier and has more depth, it still has that Dolin taste. It's not as complex as Carpano Antica but then it is half the price (when it's in stock through Prime) - I wouldnt pay more than £15 for a bottle.

VERY PLEASANT VERMOUTH
Very tasty Savoie vermouth

Great flavour but very sweet.
I bought this to use in cocktails like Manhattans and Negronis. It’s very sweet, so you need to use less of it to stop it over sweetening the drink.

Great for cocktails
I find this vermouth works better in cocktails than Italian vermouths like Carpano Antica and Cocchi Di Torino. While these vermouths may be preferable neat, I find they are too sweet and overpowering when mixed. Dolin however complements the spirits rather than overpowers them.I found a Manhattan and Negroni made with Dolin was significantly better than one made with said Italian vermouths.

Yum
I had this with a bitters, as an aperitif, it was good value vermouth. The dry white is much nicer, straight with ice, but this is a good one for mixing, if your a martini fan.

Tasty stuff
Tasty vermouth in cocktails or neat. Store it as you would an open bottle of white wine - chilled and sealed with a rubber cork and pump once opened.
