I tore down my hot end for the first time and destroyed the insulation. After several attempts of printing without any, I thought my thermister broke. I happened to find that silicone socks exist and tried these.All my problems were fixed and temps are kept as well or better than the stock insulation. Easy to install and even kept the heat cartridge in place after I lost the grub screw.The only con is a slight smell when it first heats up, but it dissipates after a few minutes.

Fits my Ender 3 (stock hot end) perfectly including with the bullseye fan mod. Much easier to clean up messes & misprints. I recommended heating your hot end to aid in getting the stock insulation off, it peels off easily when hot with a razor blade. Cover is snug but work it on carefully and it will snap around the hot end perfectly.

I was a bit skeptical at first, other customer photos looked different than the listing, and some review claimed there was a part that needed to be cutout. NOT THE CASE!While these looked slightly different than the listing photo, they have a smaller nozzle hole, they do fit more tightly around the nozzle and cover a bigger part of it, with just the tip poking out, BUT... I am pretty sure that is on purpose, Creality must have updated their design.These do have the "Cr" embossed on the side, and are made of nice GOOD silicon material.Also if still in doubt, I can confirm that i just received and Ender 3 Pro (July 2020) ordered from Creality and it came pre installed with a sock that is identical to these ones instead of the traditional wrap.For any MK8 Hot end, I can confirm these are the real deal!

These will work with the creality hotend, but they are not creality socks. you will have to cut a nipple off of it or it will cover almost the entire nozzle.

I have been really happy with my purchase. I had previously bought another brand and while it covered the hot end they never really seemed to fit snuggly or smoothly. This is by far the best fit that I have found, and I have no need to look any further. I did have a failed print over the weekend and a monster blob of filament occurred, like most of us have experienced, however, clean up was super clean and simple, and easily detached from the silicone. and it has a nice little Cr logo on the front.

Overall these seem to work well at insulating my 3D printer hotend. I was having issues getting my hotend to heat up to the temperature I wanted, but one I installed one of these it was able to heat up to my desired temp and then a little more.Pros:- Solid quality- Good insulation- Easy to useCons:- One that came in the pack was miss shapen a bit, nothing major that really affected function

These fit the hotend well, appear to be OEM or just as good as OEM... we never can really tell if Creality parts being sold online are original or knockoffs, but these seem good to go.

A hung print tore my stock silicone cover. This one performs far better than the stock one. The nozzle is mostly covered by the sock. This prevents stringing from sticking to the nozzle and causing issues
