Almost perfect.. Very close.
As a whole package, this does the majority of my Mechanic's Snap-on OBD ii reader, at about 1/333 of the cost. It does everything it says it does, the website (www.elm127.com) gives plenty of info and the supplied instructions were idiot proof (at least this idiot).My only quibble is that it throws up the odd false negative in the emissions and O2 sensor readings sections. This could be due to a slight impedance difference between OEM and aftermarket parts showing up as a fault. Also brings up an intermittent P0304 Misfire code at idle and high RPM. This has been checked against both the afore mentioned Snap-on version plus an Autel Maxi live reader which show no problems.There are a number of parameters that require more than a rudimentary understanding of car mechanics and the electrical properties of sensors etc. Some readings are easy to understand, require little explanation and are, for the most part, pretty accurate. Use this reader as something to highlight a possible issue, before doing something more costly.Overall, I'm very impressed.

just plug it works
i got the wifi version, recognized by the samsung s8 right away, u can download a few compatible sw, the unit send real time info for about 50 sensors, read and clear error codes,It can display consumtion even in L/100kmh , instead of mpg, or km/L like in the honda fit, iin JApan they use km/L but i used to L/100km, u can have short trip and see ur average consumption in L/100km for ex, u can see the distance traveled since error code clearing, so when u buy a car u can see if they just cleared the error codes

Not as user friendly
This Wifi OBD is faie easy to use when connecting your device to a third party app and getting you vehicle diagnosed, but you have the codes but no information mainly because you have no internet connection, having to go back and forth to figure out the issue is time consuming... better to go for a bluetooth one

I have purchased this product as I was struggling to obtain a fault code by using diagnostic at my local garage and even a different product. My car was keep on showing an error message, but the scanners I used, could not find an error code. To my surprise this product managed to get the code for me. I would really recommend this one. It really worked for me!

It is establishing very good diagnoses for the car engine
I have bought this to check the cause of a persistent annoying engine light to my BMW. Very quickly the device read the codes. Appointment to Kwok-fit and a master mechanic changed my EGR valve. Everything running very smoothly since and my 250 spending was very wisely. Excellent and well done!

Doesn't work as intended
Doesn't connect to 7 different OBD apps that support WiFi, not sure why it didn't work and tried the apps were listed with the item that should work with it, not a great thing to buy at all.

Very good system
Not used too much but it is a very good system and after downloading the app the OBD has a complete diagnostic sent straight to my phone.

Works with a Corsa VXR
Wanted this to enable the torque app on my android head unit. As a Corsa VXR does not have a temp gauge, I can now display one on the screen of my head unit as well as a boost gauge etc.
