Seth Thomas Central Park Standing Weather Station Clock

This is a nice piece for our deck. The picture on Amazon is not an accurate representation of what you are purchasing; the picture on the instruction with the item is different than the actual clock. I assume there are three versions of this clock in the inventory. That being said the actual clock is nicer than the picture on Amazon’s web page. The only drawback is the clock is not treated for outdoor use. After the first rain rust started to appear on the base, stand, weather vane and clock housing unit. If you purchase this item my advice is to treat the clock with Rustoleum type paint.

When ordered I specifically asked if this was made in the U.S. Yes,I was told, Seth Thomas= Rhode Island don't worry. Lo and behold it's made in CHINA!I had to reseal the clock and barometer to keep out rain and bugs. A hurricane may be able to move the wind vane but I doubt it. Purely decorative.I had to pour a concrete pad for a base and anchor it. Otherwise it's going down.The short stakes they give you to pound in to the ground are worthless.
