NOT self priming
Was surprised to find that the Dayton Self-Priming Portable Utility Pump 33RW83 actually does require priming as they explain on page four of the Operation Instructions and Parts Manual- which by the way only has a parts diagram that shows part #s 4, 6, 8 and 10.By the way the duty rating on this is for only "on" 30 min, "off" 80 min.And these are expensive units. I've rarely felt so robbed and will take up this issue with the correct agencies.

I use this pump to suck water out of a tank and was air conditioners. Works great and good pressure
