Secure Carry
Easy review - This particular Belly Band is the very best I've tried to date. It easily fits - Walther p22, LCP 2, Taurus PT-111 9mm. It does have a security strap that snaps, which is a positive since a Belly Band is flexable and can move a weapon out of position with a lot of movement from the wearer. I don't carry a 1911 but I'm pretty sure one would fit in this holster. I imagen that would be uncomfortable for a person with a shorter torso but doable. Does it print? Well, yes if you only wear a tight T-shirt or slim fitting shirt and a full size pistol. I'm about 5'9", 195-200, and wear looser shirts - so, on me, no printing. Obviously, the three pistols mentioned are smaller and slimmer. I hardly know the LCP 2 is even there. It also has a velcro backed mag holder (with safty strap) that can be moved around on the band which is 5" in width and secures with velcro. If warm, you'll probably sweat and it absorbs the moisture - but, it doesn't stay soggy. It dries because it has air circulation holes on the inside and the moisture can pass through and evaporate. I've used belt holsters IWB, OWB and Belly Bands. If it means anything, I really like this one. It's a secure, non-printable way of carrying - However, if quick access is your goal or concern, a belt carry system may be more to your liking. I carry cross draw - which I have practiced and continue to practice clearing garmets weekly so I've gotten pretty good at it. That said, it's something to consider. It may be great for a double carry - One belt, one belly. With a LCP .380 on the belly, unless someone actually patted you down, they'd never know it was there - most probably - and would certainly be a surprise for an unwary threat. Basically, it's secure, if it prints - it's minimal, holds a pistol securely, stays reletively dry and is comfortable. That is what I was looking for and found in this product - at a great price, too. That's all I got. Disclaimer - I did not receive any comp, $'s or promises for any for my review.

Absolutely in love
Large Female here with a mom belly, hips and a glock 27. I wear a 2x, 18 pant and the xl fit fine. I wore this like the main photo shows, but maybe a little bit lower. It is perfect. It is comfortable. It concealed my glock 27 just fine even in a slightly fitted, slightly loose tshirt (somewhere between the 2 lol). I didn't feel the need to wear an added trigger guard. It's easy enough to put in and take out and I tried pulling the trigger through the material and it wasn't possible. I did cut the retention strap out. The button is too big and it printed, showing that I was carrying something. It's secure enough without it for now (hoping I don't regret this once the elastic starts the wear. ) I was able to pull from concealed in about 1 second to shooting ready. I practiced with the clasp and it took closer to 3, so that was another reason it had to go. I would highly recommend this simplistic design though. For the price ,I will just buy a new one when it wears! So much better than the $120 corset holster I bought and wouldn't conceal anything.

Full size 1911 fits, but its not good for a fast draw.
My Kimber full size 1911 does fit in this holster. That being said, I would not recommend using this holster for a full size 1911. It does hold the weight with no problem. I wear it as a cross draw, and it fits under my arm just fine without printing. This is not a fast draw holster! If you have a normal/high front sight, and the barrel goes all the way through the strap, the front sight hooks on the material and does not release the firearm without fumbling with it. I would recommend using this holster with a medium/small firearm with low cut sights. I imagine that as long as the barrel doesn't hang out of the bottom, you will not have any issues. The holster is well made. The material is nicer than I expected. It does fit a large belly. My pant size is 38, and spare tire is 46. The retaining strap holds the firearm well. I was able to bend, climb, stretch, and work with tools all day without any issue of the firearm shifting. You can wear it against your skin, but the cold metal of the firearm can touch your skin as well. I wear it with a undershirt just so the cold metal doesn't touch my ribs. Again, with a smaller firearm, this shouldn't be a problem. I do notice that I sweat more around the area where the holster is. It is a thicker material and I expected that. It is very similar to wearing a back support/brace. I have a lot of body hair and it does not pull hair or feel uncomfortable with or without an undershirt (except for cold metal mentioned earlier). Wearing it lower is better than higher, if your firearm will allow it. It is a good product, and works exactly how its designed. While I will probably not use this to carry my 1911, I am still very pleased with the product. My Glock G42 fits perfect without any issues at all. Hope this info helps.
