Flextone Hunting Lightweight Ultra Realistic Lifelike Plastic Outdoor Thunder Chicken Feeding Hen Turkey Decoy

My husband and I used one each (the alert hens were on order so were not used at the time) along with another decoy Jake. We had been hunting using a few other hen decoys and I experienced that the turkeys were avoiding being near the other decoys. When this one arrived and I used it the hens came up, feeding around it, even one took a dust bath next to it. Then came the gobbler. He was attracted to it right away. We know that turkeys don't always need a "realistic" decoy but I think it does help in the long run. We love that the new stake system has the stake attached to the bird, then can fold back and inserts into a hole in the tail so that you don't have clinking sounds etc. when transporting. It almost made it great when having to set up in the dark in the mornings. No more searching around for stakes and trying to insert them. They are made of a pretty sturdy material and light weight. We have tried the blow ups, spring ups and other and some of them sound good until you are actually in the field. I am a disabled female vet and I don't need more things to worry about trying to get set up. So when using crutches or wheelchair the less you have to worry about the better it is. The eyes are not taxidermy eyes but they are very realistic. I did put clear nail polish on the eyes for a little extra shine for additional lifelike appearance. We have 2 of these and 2 (now) of the alert hens and we are very pleased with both. My husbands Osceola turkey with 4 beards (here comes another taxidermy bill) is a tribute to these. Decoys aren't everything. Placement, sounds, calling are all part of the turkey hunting experience. But it helps to finally have a decoy that is realistic and so easy to use.

Drew in a nice bird this spring with the decoy. Easy to setup and very lifelike. A little bulky to carry but I just throw both my decoys in a old camp tote bag

This feeding decoy is very lifelike and of very good quality, colors and molded material are excellent and lightweight and definitely of appropriate size. I highly recommend this decoy to add to your others or use alone. I highly recommend this decoy.

The turkey looks great, the steak system is awesome. I can’t attest to its magnetism with the gobbler because I’m a terrible hunter, but I wanna shoot at the whole time in the blind so that’s gotta say something.
