Rain drops may be falling on my head , , , , but not inside my pack!
I wanted a rain cover for my Condor 3-Day Assault Pack and liked what I read in the reviews of the Podsacs Ruck Sack Rain Cover, Black, Large. It came quickly, with Amazon Prime Delivery. When I first looked at how small its storage bag was, I began to wonder if it would fit my Large (3,038 cu.in.) pack. But when I began removing it form its storage bag (which stays attached to the cover with a solidly-stitched strap, so it won't get lost), much to my relief, I kept pulling more and more rain cover out. I was very happy to see that it does a great job of covering my pack. The rain cover is elasticized around its entire opening, which allows it to slide easily over and around all of the lumps and bumps my Condor 3-Day Assault Pack from various pieces of gear I have attached to the MOLLE webbing on the outside of the pack, It fits over my pack and gear the same way a mattress protector fits over a mattress. It covered the entire top, back, sides and bottom of my large pack, and still had enough material to extend its coverage of the back side of my pack. It also looks like it might have room to cover my bed roll, which I will strap down to the top of my pack -- as soon as I order and receive it. The rain cover is made of the same type of material as umbrellas, so it should shed rain water very well. Is the material waterproof? I doubt it, but then I don't go swimming with an umbrella. either. Is it likely to direct moderate to heavy rainfall down my back and the back of my neck? I haven't tested that out yet, but I would guess that it most likely will, (unless I put on a full haz-mat suit, then put my pack on over the haz-mat suit) But then I would only have to deal with sweat rolling down my back, my chest, the back of my neck, and down my legs, which would surely also cause my protective goggles to fog up. But I digress. The Podsacs Ruck Sac Rain Cover, Large does a great job of shedding rain water off my pack, like water rolling off the back of a duck. That's worth five stars in my book any day!

Overall good buy.
I bought two of these for a camping trip with my son. We loaded our packs and tried the Podsacs cover on to ensure it fit. I was pretty impressed at how easy it was to get on quickly. My son's pack was a medium sized youth pack and mine was a 5 day assault pack. As expected, my son's back was engulfed by the cover, but it still held on. It fit my pack very well and covered it completely. Great buy.

ok
The product is fine. However, the size is not precise enough. I bought the large one, but it can not cover my 60L backpack when it is full.Unfortunately, I decided to return it. The return process was just OK. One thing I want to point out is that I need to pay the return shipping even the size is not precise enough, and also the refund was the selling price (not the selling price plus shipping) deducted the shipping the seller shipped it to me.

Initial Opinion is Good
Haven't used this in the rain yet, though it just fits my Kelty 2650. Will be a good thing to have with me on a daily basis. A bit of a pain with a waistband, but I think it'll be find. We're talking preventing most of the water from entering not all.One random comment is the cover has the brand logo on it in white. Not huge, but there. Glad I picked this up.

It's a good rain cover
A nice rain cover your backpack if you don't have carry accessories. Colors aren't the best they all ended up being a dark olive green.. Not black. But a good rain cover none the less.

Too big for standard backpack.
I bought is for my 5.11 rush 24 because it has no water protection. Fits a little big. They need an xs.

What the (bleep) did I get?
It's nice that all of you got a rain cover that you are happy with, because I didn't. The ripcord was made out of some kind of elastic, and would not pull out of the sleeve. I could not pull-close this thing, no matter how hard I tried. Returned it for a refund, which they granted immediately, without question. I ended up buying the raincover at this link: Gregory Accessories Raincover

for the money, i love it
for my spec.ops. T.H.E. Pack, small is too small when bag is nearly empty.large is fine for having a large sleeping bag on the bottom and a 2-person tent on top (even with a couple of M.O.L.L.E. pouches on the sides).i'll have to trade in my small for a medium cover for smaller trips.
