The original camera was supplied by Security Direct based on my previous order for DVR complete with 4 cameras. After 5 years one camera was blown down in the wind hence needing a replacement. Unfortunately the camera supplied was not compatible with my DVR however when I supplied Security Direct the model number of my DVR they quickly supplied the correct compatible camera. They kept me informed of what was going on which was great, thank you. We needed an engineer to install the camera and he said that it was easy to do.

Haven’t received them yet so can’t comment. Should have been delivered on 25/th April

These cameras come with wall fixings and everything you need to install them. There’s 4x 24-hour video surveillance stickers, drill hole template, 4x long video cables, splitter cable, power supply, and an instruction leaflet. The cameras are a nice, compact size and is very lightweight. The housing is plastic so not very robust so are best installed higher up out of reach. It has an adjustable base which allows it to be swivelled to quite a large area so should have no problem covering the area you need when wall mounted. The camera is easy to fix to the wall using the drill hole template and included fixings. Once fitted, I plugged in one of the extension cables which is connected to my Sannce NVR, plugged in the power supply, and the camera powered on. Just a quick note, there is only one power supply included but you get a splitter cable to plug the power supply into and then this gives you four connections to connect the four cameras to. This is good as you only need one plug socket to power all four cameras. The camera showed up in the NVR, and I was able to change the settings and add it to my camera system. The mobile app allows direct connection to the camera, and you can see live video and go through recorded footage. You do have to have the recorder connected to the internet for this to work though, but it’s simple to connect with a LAN cable. I tend to control it through the NVR though but it’s nice that I have access to it when out and about via the app. Overall, I found this to be a very capable security camera set. The recorded footage was clear with its 1080p resolution and it’s nice to know that I have a camera on my car all of the time. Night vision also works well, and I could clearly see my car which is about 5 metres away from the camera. The access to the recorded footage through the app simplifies the process as you don’t have to physically go to the recorder to view anything, I can do it straight from the mobile app. You can also have notifications appear on your phone when movement is detected if you require this feature. It’s nice to have everything included in the set too so you just plug it in and away you go. You do need to have an NVR that supports BNC though. This is a really good camera set, especially at this price point…

Great service and product. Arrived early and well packed great quality for the protect of the property. PS I've 4 cams all ready this was bought for coverage of garage area But this cam for pice of mind.

Picture quality isn’t as good as my Annke or Swann cameras put they are cheap.

I have a 4 channel, 2 cameras Sannce DVR. This is good. I ordered a night vision camera as I was having vandalism problems. I have now had this camera installed, and during daylight hours was fine. Come dusk, the scenery turns grey and it doesn't give any night vision. The instructions, say, needs work done with the DVR. I have now changed the camera to another cable. It does not light up any night vision. The other camera is still fine with IR. So is this camera faulty?
