150 cf Cylinder for Argon Nitrogen Argon/CO2 Helium w/free shipping

It came packaged in a heavy cardboard box with heavy brown packing paper on the bottom. The box was a bit busted up but this is a heavy piece so it’s to be expected.My concern was having it filled so I contacted a local mom and pop welding supply (Marse) in Metairie, La. They said as long as it did not have a company name on it and the DOT date code was current all was okay. My bottle was stamped 2018/03.My purchase date is 11 of 2019 in case you’re wondering. I also brought my purchase invoice for added proof. They filled it.

Great deal! Local welding gas supplier would only lease me a tank this size. I'm not into paying rent, so I bought this tank which they took as a core exchange for a full tank of AR/CO2 for MIG welding. This tank price is cheaper than initial lease payment, so it's a great deal! I plan to buy three additional tanks as MIG spare and two for pure Argon for TIG welding. Very happy with this "work around" solution to avoid renting tanks!!!

Great value actually greater capacity than advertised

Took it down to my local welding shop and they filled it with argon no issues no questions.Update 5/3/24: just exchanged it for a full one and my local place took it no issues. Still a great deal.

I guess they were ok, I just took them in and got full ones. Saved $200 on each one by not buying local.

The bottle I received was stamped with a manufacturers origin of China, and while the test was current, 03/2018, it was not stamped for retest or 10% overcharge. This caused some issues in exchanging the bottle at my gas dealer.

It is a gas cylinder and I was able to take it and exchange it without trouble. That's all it needs to be.
