I think breathability in coats is mostly a marketing game, I find they always permeate water in the end in driving rain and with cycling. The coat is loose enough to allow for some airflow, especially with wind. Best have long sleeves as it doesn't feel amazing on bare skin.

Great over jacket for working in the rain. No heat retention so does need a layer or two underneath, but genuinely keeps out wind and water. Fits well but sleeves are short compared other jackets
