50 (INT) X 40 (EXT) 50/40 Nickel YALE Platinum 3 Star Euro Cylinder Barrel Anti Snap Bump High Security uPVC Door Lock TS2007:2014 Lock

I bought two of these highest security rated Euro Cylinder locks for my French doors because there is a spate of burglaries going on in my area. These locks have given me peace of mind because they're the best on the market. Good Points: 1. Easy to fit. I like the screw that has a pointed end which allows it to fit in place much easier than a flat ended screw. Having a Phillips type head makes the screw a lot easier to install than hex head screws that fit deep inside the door, so you can't see which size hex key is needed. 2. Three keys are provided as standard. I can't see why I'd need more than that. 3. Insurance companies will be happy. They photograph locks if there is a burglary, so they can wriggle out of paying for a claim if the locks aren't up to standard. 4. I can now sleep easily at night! Bad Points None that I can think of. Some may say they are expensive, but when you buy Yale, you're buying the best. Helpful Hint: If they area bit clunky or difficult to turn at first, they do wear in. Adding a bit of oil from an aerosol can helps. I'd buy these locks again.

A superb lock, easy to install and I feel much safer with this in my door.

A little pricier than some but seems very sturdy. The keys are plentiful for spares and their design is also seemingly hard wearing. Seems worth the extra. My only niggle is the keys are (just a little bit) awkward to slide into the sideways barrel. I suspect this will get better in time with getting used to a new key type. Edit: oiled the lock now, seems much better, smooth operation and easier to pit the key in & take it out. All in all I'd probably get one again, a nice, tidy lock.

Excellent, high quality locks. Got to replace our old locks on the advice of police. They are very easy to replace yourself, only took a few minutes and work perfectly (although the key can be a bit fiddly until you get used to it.) I noticed when I ordered that Amazon had flagged the locks as ‘frequently returned items.’ You do need to remove your old locks and measure carefully to make sure they fit, so that’s probably the problem, not the quality of the locks. There are plenty of YouTube videos demonstrating measuring and fitting to help if needed. Feel much more secure at home now!

Bought these for my French doors , having lost one of the original lock keys One was very easy to install but the other required a you tube video and some drilling in to the door frame to remove the holding screw Overall these are much better than the original ones and give you piece of mind A novice DIYer could install these

Excellent build quality. Fitted them to front, back and patio doors after low life's broke in through my neighbours patio doors and stole her Christmas presents from under the tree. I fitted new handles to my patio door but fitted short spindles so that only the internal handles will open the doors the external handles do nothing.

Good sturdy lock relatively easy to fit for anyone with basic DIY knowledge, just be aware that the handle has to be taken off to fit due to the anti pull feature.
