Perfect for small jobs I have this hammer for 2 years or more and is till going like champion

The hammer works well for my tent. If you are a girl, you can consider the 16 ounce option. But this one works great for me.

I've only used it a few times, but it feels great in my hands. Good balance too.

I needed a new 24 ounce ballpean hammer . It replaced a very old Proto I used alot and sadly it got lost. I have some old Powerbuilt tools that go back to the 1980's that have held up for Decades . AllTrade Tools owns the brand PB. And they make alot of well known tools for brands we all know and most tool guys own. I was sad to see the hammer was made in China not at least Taiwan. It's still a very good hammer and will last menny years but as a general rule I try to stay with American, German, Japanese and sometimes Taiwan made tools . This may just be the only Chinese tool in my big tool box.

This things has some heft. It weighs the same (16 oz) as a regular claw hammer. I mostly use it to bang on things that I don't want to mar, to pound on wood chisels, and will use it in leather craft. Bonus: I got a great deal on it in Amazon's Warehouse.

I love my 2.5 lb mini sledge hammer. Most old schoolers steer clear of anything with a fiberglass handle. Paired with a bull-pin, I successfully drove a whole ware house full of bolts through the concrete. Easy to use.
