Character development is incredible and the story is engaging. Pacing is pretty much perfect. While I was reading the manga, it really felt like I was on a journey with the protagonists, which I think is a sign of great writing. There are hardly any instances of plot armor or plot holes in this manga. The power system feels balanced and contained, without skyrocketing in later chapters, instead opting for more creative powers. The vol.1 arrived in an excellent condition. Hunter x Hunter vol.1
This manga is an absolute masterpiece, and I'll never stop recommending it. Character development is incredible and the story is engaging. Pacing is pretty much perfect. Pricey but worth it.
Amazing manga - got into it after the 2011 anime series. Only complaint is that volume 1 is most often out of print and can get really pricey. Wait for the offers. Worth the buy.

Even though it is slow paced which is needed at the start of the series, it gives you the feeling of what comes next.

Just finished watching the anime. Want to see what the manga is like. Highly recommend. I hope Yoshihiro Togashi gets better so we can get more chapters and volumes.

Great manga, great story, great quality. Out of all 37 volumes that are out, this is still one of my favorite covers, purely for the iconic shiny frog.
