I would recommend these to everyone
I purchased these for my son as part of a graduation gift from college. Being a college student he cooks a lot at home and he loves these utensils. I wasn't so sure about ordering these after reading a couple of the negative reviews. Some of the negative reviews said they were very thin and bent easily. These will last you a long time. I am very pleased with these utensils and would recommend them to anyone who has been wanting to switch from the cheap and toxic plastic sets but can't afford the 15 for stainless steel utensils you typically see them for. They are somewhat thin, but much better than the big box store quality. If you want something cheap but utilitarian then this utensil set is for you. It isn't particularly heavy, but it is heavy enough that it doesn't bend easily. I wash these a few times a week in the dishwasher, and no rust or spotting problems so far. I like that there is a hole on the top for hanging them also. These aren't the highest quality, but overall, especially at this price, they are good utensils and I would buy them again.

Much Better Than Expected
*Each utensil has a nice, polished finish, and indeed, is Stainless Steel. (A magnet won't stick) So indoors/outdoors will never have any problems with rust forming. No fancy chrome plating... just a pure material. *True, these are stamped parts, but the metal is a sturdy, 1/16" thick, and the outer edges are relatively-well machined for a smooth feel. No particular problems with burrs. The stamping was done on the top, which naturally rounds the slots for food contact. * I purchased the set primarily for the spatula and "Jethro" spoon, and these two will undergo a little "aftermarket" sanding to make certain the lower edges are absolutely perfect for my tastes. Once done, I see no reason at all not to use the spatula in a non-stick pan. Additionally, since these are solid and one metal, it won't hurt the tools a bit. For ten bucks, this set is a great addition to both kitchen and outdoor grill, and is worth every penny!

A really nice affordable set of stainless steel utensils.
These days, I try to purchase glass or stainless steel when it comes to items that touch our food or drink. Plastics leach toxic chemicals. It seems everyone has health issues anymore and I want to opt out of the system that produces so many sick people. Every once in awhile I will find a quality utensil that I love and I purchase it immediately if I can. In the meantime, I have a couple of sets of stainless steel utensils that get the job done. I purchased the Amco Stainless Steel 5 Piece Utensil Set because it contained cooking utensils I used every day and frankly, they were offered at a really good price for the set. I am glad I got them and I use them every day. They are a bit flimsy, but I have stronger utensils I use when I need them. WHAT IS IN THE BOX: 1 dishwasher safe set of 5 utensils including a ladle, a solid spoon, a slotted spoon, a spatula (slotted turner) and a skimmer made from stainless steel. WHAT I LIKE: Stainless steel is a safe metal for utensils. It doesnโt leach harmful chemicals like plastic and it cleans easily. These utensils are dishwasher safe. This set contains the utensils I use most often. I already own most of these things, but now when my other utensils are waiting in the dishwasher, this set provides me with a back up. These 5 utensils are offered at a very reasonable price. I got 5 utensils for the price I typically pay for 1. WHAT I DONโT LIKE: These utensils are pretty light weight. They definitely wonโt hold up to any heavy work in the kitchen. But I purchased them as a back up and I already own stronger tools for heavier jobs. PICTURES: I am including pictures of the spoon from this set in my hand. One is top down and shows where the handle narrows. The other is from the side to show the narrowness of the spoon itself. I purchased the Amco Stainless Steel 5 Piece Utensil Set at full price and have undertaken this review of my own accord. This is a decent starter set, perfect for light weight duty in the kitchen and great for the price.

Wonderful Cooking Utensil Set!
In the past I've just purchased the cheap cooking utensil's from Walmart or Family Dollar. It is true that you get what you pay for. In this case I got a really good deal on this set. I'm not a professional cook, but after my kids melting most of my plastic cooking utensil's I knew I needed something that was better quality. I am not disappointed with my purchase at all! I had read some people putting down that these were flimsy. I beg to differ!!! My other, cheaper, cooking utensil's that were supposed to be stainless steel rusted. Again, you get what you pay for. These utensil's are very durable, as my son tested it with his strength, and could not bend them, not even the handle, and he's strong! I like that the utensil's have a longer handle on them, so you aren't so close to what you're cooking and inadvertently burn your hand. I'm looking forward to using each one of these, because I finally feel I've got something that will last me a long time, and that these will survive my kids for a change! I HIGHLY recommend these utensil's!

Best Buy For My Kitchen
I am VERY happy with my purchase of this set of utensils! This is exactly what I wanted as we are eliminating all of the plastic from our kitchen, and looking to buy only high quality replacements. (So tired of replacing kitchen stuff year after year) This set of utensils is made of high quality stainless steel and, although a little awkward at first due to the lack of bulky handles, after a couple of uses became very comfortable and convenient. They are easy to clean and look attractive in my kitchen, and I love the fact that they won't ever crack or leach harmful chemicals into our food.

Good quality for the money
I bought this set for the strainer to lift small items from boiling water or hot oil, the others will be camping or other utility use. Made in India, medium to light weight material not made for pressing burgers or bearing down on a grill/griddle to lift up stuck items, but not as cheap as some of the grocery store utensils I've seen either. The spatulas flex some when in use (supports a pound and a half jar with ease), and i doubt I will use them for anything that heavy anyway. The spoons and ladle I think would hold up to most things being stirred/scooped, just not lifting out a roast or whole chicken or the like. If you prefer top shelf, this isn't likely to satisfy you, however if you want an extra set for light to medium use or maybe a cheap dorm set you can afford to leave behind. This definitely fits the bill

Beautiful Stainless Finish and Excellent Price
I bought a set of polished stainless steel Cuisinart cookware to hang on a new pot rack that I installed in my kitchen. The rack and pans look beautiful, but i couldn't get the rack to stay balanced evenly with any configuration. These utensils solved the problem as they were just the right weight to balance things (less than a small pan) and they look fantastic. They are a perfect compliment to the stainless cookware. I'll be honest, these utensils are for looks and will not be used, so I can't comment on the functionality, but they seem like they would work quite well.

Lean mean cooking machine
Love these long handled babies... Light weight and sturdy enough for most camping expeditions... Back side of slotted spoons a little rough and edges of utensils a bit sharp due to manufacturing punching technique but a minute of sanding with 400 grit will makes these perfect... Excellent product for an excellent price

too thin handles bend easily
these are thinner than i expected. they work ok, but they are not strong as i expect a steel spoon set to be, easily bent with regular use. not recommended.

Good quality!
I decided to throw away all my plastics kitchen supplies and replace them with better choices. I have these for a few months now and still in very good condition.

Poor quality and engineering.
Waste of my money. Thin, angular handles make them difficult to hold. No ergonomic shaping. The handle of the tool is flat where it is attached to the utensil making them difficult to use properly. Cut in to the hand, difficult to stir anything. Cheap, thin utensils suitable for the sandbox.
