The Best 50 Scones Paperback – December 31, 2007

Yes, this is a tiny book, but the most important thing is the quality of the recipes. Today I made the lemon scones and they have a wonderful crumb and are as light as a feather. At first I didn't think there was enough liquid but I followed the recipe and worked the dough until it held together. Once baked I knew I had a winner and made a nice lemon curd to go with it. Small but packed with so much goodness. I would recommend this book to anyone that wanted to make tender, light. delisious scones.

The book is shockingly tiny. But the recipes are decent.

This is a wonderful book to have in conjunction with Simply Scones. With the two of them, you can just bake to your hearts content. I would highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys baking different things. The scones are not hard to make, and are really delicious.

Very tiny book but packed with every scone recipe you could want.

This cookbook was very small. The cover is paper and thin. I expected a larger book and a better cover. Recipes look good. Cant wait to try one.

First, this is not a book. It is merely a booklet....and a teeny tiny one at that. There is not a single picture throughout which makes for an uninspired looking recipe booklet.Second, almost every recipe is essentially identical. Only the fruit is different or a different sugary topping is listed. How dull and monotonous.This booklet should be given away as a freebie and not sold. Even at $5.95, it is definitely not worth buying. Save your money and buy something worthy of your purchase price.

This little book has so many great recipes that I never even thought of and I'm going to try them all, not just for breakfast but for lunch and dinner.

Nice little book with 50 recipes but they are pretty much a repeat of the first one which is the basic one. But, that is what I wanted and there are different ideas for scones that I've never had.

I liked this, but had no idea it was a such a tiny, teeny little book. Brought it for a gift but was too embarrassed to give it. Kept it for myself.

イギリスの伝統的なタイプじゃなくて、アメリカの、スタバみたいなスコーンのレシピ本をさがしてこれにたどり着きました。スタバ風のスコーンレシピは検索すればいっぱい出てくるけど、プロのつくったちゃんとしたレシピはなかなかありません。表紙の三角スコーンにヒトメボレして買っちゃいましたが、買ってよかったです♪写真はいっさいなく、イメージは表紙だけがたよりですが、基本のトラディショナルスコーンとバナナナッツ、チェリーバニラ、マンゴーマンゴー、シナモンレーズン、キャロットなどなど甘いおやつスコーンはもちろんベーコンチェダーやハム、オニオン、セサミなどをつかった塩味のおかず系スコーンなど参考になる組み合わせがいっぱいです！ただ、グラム表記ないので計算がめんどくさいですが。小麦粉はアメリカ１カップ＝１３０ｇ程度。強力粉をまぜるとより近いものになるでしょう華氏３７５度＝摂氏１９０度１インチ＝２．５４センチです。参考までに。。。
