Corners made easy
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This sander has made my life easier. I have been flipping some odds and ends in furniture as of late. I have a few different types of sanders, plug in and composer but they are all round. I have been using old fashion methods of folding sand paper to do corners or small edges. This sander is a much better solution. It is smaller and the shape allows smooth sanding in straight lines. It comes with sand paper as well. It is easy to control with one hand. I should have gotten it sooner.

Great Mouse Sander! Comfortable, Durable and Well Made, Does the job!
I bought this Mouse Sander after doing quite a bit of research on different brands. This Meterk Mouse Sander has one of the highest ratings for its price point (which I find to be excellent!), and after having used one to complete a fairly large furniture project, I can definitely see why. The unit is comfortable in the hand, is maneuverable, and is well made. I used it on this project for two days of sanding, of about 6 hours each day, so 12 hours total. There was very little "downtime" for the sander during each of those 6 hour periods and it was running nearly non-stop the whole time. This speaks to its durability and quality. It was as quiet in operation as I would expect one of these sanders to be capable of. There were a few times during my second 6 hour sanding session when the sanders motor seemed to slow down a little, but I believe this was caused by grid fluctuations in my electrical supply, which in my rural area has been known to happen. I didn't hook the sander to a shop vac, so I am not sure how the dust collection system would have worked. I do think that attaching a vacuum hose to the attach point on the rear of the sander would greatly decrease maneuverability, but I suspect that would be the case with almost any Mouse Sander, regardless of manufacturer. I never encountered any instance where I thought the sander was becoming overheated. The "hook" material on the sander face for attaching the sanding pads with their "loop" type material held the pads on good and firm and the pads I used (Meterk and Tacklife brands) never slipped, shifted or came loose inadvertently. Speaking of sanding pads, I found that those manufactured by Tacklife worked very well, being closer in shape and design to the ones which came with the mouse sander than other brands I researched. The Tacklife manufactured pads had fewer holes punched in them and some were in a different location from the pads which came with the sander, but this didn't seem to make any negative difference in actual use and I could see where a simple handheld office hole punch could easily be used to punch new holes or adjust the location of existing holes in the Tacklife pads, if desired.I recommend this sander wholeheartedly. I was extremely pleased and I expect to get plenty of years of use out of this Meterk Mouse Sander (Model TS-002)

Light weight and efficient
I like the weight and size of this sander. It is great for aging hands. I have a large, older one that I have used for years, but old one is heavy and more cumbersome to use. I expect this one will replace it for most of my needs. It came with plenty of refills which is nice.

Does not fit a Miele vacuum
I own a Miele vacuum that has a HEPA filter built-in. The reason that I wanted this sander was to mitigate the dust that gets produced in my small home projects such as sanding a door, wall, and other areas in the house. As you know the amount of dust that gets created when sanding is huge. And it is hard to clean it all up given its smalls size. There is also the danger of dust getting into the lungs, eyes, and air vents.I was excited to get the unit and when I tried to connect the vac to the sander, I noticed that the openings are the same size. I went to Home Depot and found a piece of PVC pipe that made the connection.I had to buy a 2-foot piece and cut it into 4-inch sections. If you need one to connect your vacuum, email me and I will send it to you for the cost of postage. L o r n e at E l e c t r i c C o w dot c o mIf they had adaptors for a few different sizes I would have given all 5 stars. And it would be great to find sandpaper of different grits, but that is an easy work around.

A great tool
perfect for small spaces. It completed the shelf and with all of the extra pads I'm able to complete a large project without worrying about refills. Im surprised zt the power of the unit for the price. It fits right in my hand, thats my favorite part. It's sturdy. I recommend for everyday use and small and medium projectsas well as polishingand other deep sanding and restoration projects.

Worked surprisingly well
Was really surprised about this sander. It really was small and didn't look like it would do much. But it did a great job! I sanded several 4x8 plywood sheets with little effort, including rounding corners and leveling surfaces. Excellent product for the price!

It works but probably not for long
I’ll start with the sander does work which is great for the price point, but I’m sort of surprised by the countless comments about its durability? I bought this purely because i didn’t test out the stain before applying it and now wanted to take the color of the planter. I went through the entire pack of provided paper (yes, I know the paper provided wasn’t meant to be too knotch) before all the stain came off (and it was only one piece of wood less than 3 ft tall) and the tip of the Velcro that is supposed to hold the paper in place is already peeling off. At least I was able to use it for what I got it for, but don’t think this is going to last that much longer.

Works way better than I expected for the price
I'm a power tool doofus. Honestly, I completely expected to screw up the home project I bought this for. Just a little practice makes perfect with this item. Love it that I can change the pads velcro-style -- buy plenty, change frequently, get consistently great results. CAUTION: as with any such tool -- use earplugs, wear eye protectors, get a dust mask that scares the dog, not those flimsy throw away ones.
