The Princess and the Pea (Flip-Up Fairy Tales)

Lovely little book that worked well at Christmas as I had brought my Grandaughter as little castle , with a mouse Princess with a bed with lots of mattress and a pea !!!!

Quality book with interesting pop ups

I work with school children who have difficulty with reading and these books are colourful, the words are easy to understand and are not crowded on each page but the fact that they have flaps keeps the children interested right to the very last page.

I am not a total fan of how it's been rewritten, it's lost all the loveliness of the original and it's been oversimplified in my personal opinion. That said, it's a nice story! As long as you have no set expectations.

My 3 year old daughter loves these books. I bought a number of these stories from the series and my little one never gets bored of them. Perfect for bed time stories - good quality and great illustrations.

A briliant retelling of the princess and the pea from a delightful series. The narrative is pitched at the right level to read to a class (Reception) as part of a topic on traditional tales. Love it!
