Candy good but shipped only one box instead of 2.
I purchased this item in the Warehouse Deals in the snacks category. The description of this item states 2 boxes of 10oz. When I received only one box I sent an inquiry and asked for the second box. An Amazon employee told me I ordered the wrong item as I was only to get one 10oz. box and sent me a link to the regular Amazon website with a price of $14+ and told me this is what I should have ordered. They gave me my money back and that's all well and fine except the description does say this price includes 2 boxes. You will have to search for the item in the Warehouse Deals in snacks, the price listed is $2.83 plus shipping but the description DOES SAY includes 2 boxes...this is poor research done by the Amazon employee. Make sure you get what you order.

Delicious, easy, and makes for a great gift!
I was a little bit nervous about having these shipped, it is chocolate after all. I had no reason to be worried at all, they were packaged very well and arrived in fantastic condition. A few of the reviews that I had read were very critical of the chocolate used to make this. It costs around $5 and it's Hershey's, this isn't meant for Chocolate snobs. It's still delicious candy, it's just not the kind of gourmet candy some people expect when they get a box of chocolates. Everybody I've ever given these to has enjoyed it very much and it makes a great gift.

Not impressed.
I love chocolate but was pretty disappointed by this box. There was not a single flavor that stuck out to me as tasting that good. I know Hershey makes a lot of chocolate so I definitely felt like they could have done better with this.

Not a favorite.
I guess I was expecting chocolates similar to Russell Stover. Well, this is kinda the "dumbed down" simplified version, but, not enough variety. The quality, flavor and freshness was all good, just not any variety to speak of. More hype than substance. Just give me a plain old Hershey bar with almonds.

Look at ounces. It's the small box.
I needed something extra to get free shipping on my order, so I added this box of chocolates, which I had planned on buying at Walmart. This is the SMALL box- the one that's $5 at Walmart. Just looking at the picture, I thought it would be about the same as the $10-$15 box. My fault, but way overpriced.

Packing gifts with care and completion allows the product to be better appreciated.
Ask for careful packing. Box was broken open and chocolates rolling all over cardboard box. John said the chocolates were okay, anyway.

Tasted old and dull. Dry fillings
These came and had a moth left till expiration so they must have been made at least last year...they all sucked and tasted flat, dry, old, stale etc.

Decent Box of Chocolates!
Hershey's does not produce gourmet chocolate. Let's just get that out of the way. Given that these chocolates aren't gourmet, however, they're actually pretty good! I'm a bit of a chocolate snob. Normally, I won't touch Hershey's with a ten-foot pole, because their plain chocolate bars are just awful. I don't know what makes these chocolates so much better . . . perhaps it's just the addition of caramel, nuts, etc. . . . but in any case, they're quite decent. In this particular box, you get a mix of 28 milk chocolate pieces. And just to thwart Forrest Gump, I'll tell you what they are: Vanilla Caramel, Butter Creme, Milk Chocolate Truffle, Milk Chocolate Pecan, Chocolate Creme with Almonds, and Pecan Caramel Cluster. They're all excellent, although my favorites are the ones with almonds and pecans. The nuts are finely ground, so you don't have to worry about breaking a crown by biting down on one. The caramel is soft, too, which I prefer. The price is reasonable, the chocolate is decent, and you get a fair amount. It's definitely not See's (my favorite brand of high-end chocolates), but it's worth getting a box now and again. Five stars and recommended to anyone who likes chocolate.
