when i wake up in the morning my ankles/feet are so tight and painful when i walk (only for about 10 minutes) - will this help that?

I had that issue also. Had. I have been using this for over a year and I am totally happy. Like I said… Had. What works for me is I apply generously to my feet and ankles just before I go to sleep. It not only helps me while I sleep, but in the mornings my feet are not as tense or touchy. Now, remember , this is what works for ME., and maybe you as well.

does it have a strong odor?

I has a strong menthol odor which will require you to thuroughly wash your hands upon completing application. I only use it on my feet which I find to be far enough away to keep the smell from bothering me. Also my skin absorbes it within a few minutes. Personally, I have found Blue-Emu foot therapy to be just as or maybe even little more effective and without any odor at all for a fraction of the price. ( Approx $8 to $9)

Has anyone noticed better circulation or less numbness???? I have no pain

I have not noticed that. I use it for pain relief and find it works better than any other cream I have tried. I would buy it again.
